CASE STUDY 👏🏻

Introducing an inspiring patient journey: Meet our 85-year-old male patient who transformed his quality of life through dental rehabilitation. Struggling with an unstable upper prosthesis, he opted for a total upper restoration with 9 SDS implants, following successful experiences with lower implants. Despite initial challenges, including vertical dimension loss, he received an elegant definitive prosthesis after eight months, enhancing his chewing and speech abilities. While some implants faced setbacks, successful implantation in other areas showcased less than 2mm of marginal bone loss after a year, marking a complete success in his journey to improved oral health.

CASE STUDY 🇨🇭👇

A female patient presented to the SWISS BIOHEALTH
CLINIC with a missing lateral incisor (tooth 22) and
eruption of tooth 23. The presence of the deciduous
canine (tooth 63) caused functional friction and
overbite, resulting in tooth 63 being overlapped by
antagonist 33. The deciduous tooth 63 exhibited gum
recession and an atrophied root, clinically
demonstrating grade 2 mobility. The radiological
findings depicted the extent of the atrophic root of
tooth 63 and provided precise measurements for
implant planning.

Following the minimally invasive extraction of
deciduous tooth 63, socket disinfection with ozone,
and filling with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a one-piece
zirconia implant was immediately placed, achieving
initial stability with a torque of 35Ncm. Owing to the
condition of the deciduous socket, a slightly smaller
implant diameter than usual (3.8 mm instead of 4.6
mm) was selected for the canine region. The coronal
form resembling a natural tooth characteristic of SDS
implants (the „tulip“ shape) facilitated aesthetic
outcomes and maintenance of the buccal ridge, even
with the use of a 3.8 mm diameter implant in the
canine region. The implant length was 14 mm, as
previously determined by CBCT.

Immediately after insertion, a tissue-level implant was
prepared for a temporary crown. The CAD-CAM milled
temporary crown was designed to rest directly on the
preparation edge of the implant, allowing optimal
periodontal hygiene and soft tissue shaping during the
healing phase. The temporary restoration was
intentionally made slightly shorter to promote gum
growth around the tulip of the implant, known as
„creeping attachment.“ The soft tissue in region 23
exhibited excellent healing and a strong affinity for
ceramic implants.

Successful Immediate Implantation with SDS Bright Implants! 🌟

Meet our amazing 60-year-old male patient who battled periodontitis and a smoking habit of over 10 ci******es daily. Because of these challenges, he presented with generalized body pain and sought a solution.

Our team immediately loaded SDS Bright implants in the esthetic regions 42, 32, 11, 21, 13, and 23. The patient received a provisional solution for an extended period, and after one year, his definitive restorations were completed.

We’re thrilled to share that upon placement of the prosthesis, all implants showed clinical and radiographic stability, successfully osseointegrating. Fast forward three years of follow-up, and none of the implants were lost! Additionally, the marginal bone loss (MBL) was less than 2 mm, indicating a complete success for the immediate implantation with SDS Bright implants.

This inspiring case showcases the power of modern dentistry and the positive impact it can have on our patients‘ lives. Stay tuned for more success stories like this!

CASE STUDY 🦷

What beautiful results! This 61-year-old woman has faced numerous challenges since 2012, including an inadequate mobile prosthesis, cysts related to Hashimoto's disease, and lack of energy. The treatment was carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the patient received 20 ceramic implants in the upper and lower jaw, along with provisional restorations. After six months, the second phase was completed allowing for a complete restoration of the occlusion and the vertical dimension. Meridians were re-activated, promoting improved blood circulation and drainage in the head and neck. A new long-term provisional restoration restored the patient's smile, chewing function, and quality of life. After 18 months, the patient received her final bridges and crowns. She now has a happy smile and improved oral health.
Here is an overview of what was done:
- Vit D 106 ng/ml and LDL 1.9 g/L (08.03.2021)

SDS Swiss Dental Solutions - Keramikimplantate
