Spaces are available in the Tuesday lunchtime language sessions that take place on Avenue de Rumine, Lausanne.
Children are picked up from Eglantine and Florimont schools and dropped back after the session.
Sessions include lunch, activities and games that link to the weekly topic and lots of fun!

English Fun is for children aged 4 to 7 years old, who are English speakers or learners.

9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm on Wednesdays in Lausanne.

Children learn English in a fun and friendly environment, through songs, rhymes, games and a wealth of exciting creative activities.

We read The Three Little Pigs this week in our 'Stories with Sam' session, and the children made their very own straw, wood and brick homes. They had fun using finger puppets and, sequencing the story afterwards! 🐷😊🐷

This post is a little late, but the children had so much fun making their Father's Day cards whilst practising letter sounds! They also made beautiful frames, and were able to name all the colours of the rainbow. The biscuits were enjoyed by all, and I think a few even made it home to Dad! 😅🤗

Dinosaurs were the theme for the day, and we read two funny and fabulous books - 'Gigantosaurus' and 'Trouble at Dinosaur Cafe', which the children loved! We made dinosaur biscuits, modelled play-dough dinosaurs and played the Dinosaur Race game. The children learnt lots of interesting vocabulary when singing dinosaur songs, and we focused on ordinal numbers and the 'th' sound when placing the dinosaurs in the race!
English Fun on Wednesday mornings and afternoons!

There was lots of Mother's Day fun this week as children made beautiful crafts and baked cookies!

We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and got messy with hand painting! The children practised using lots of new food vocabulary and even made caterpillar snacks. They learnt about the life cycle of the butterfly and danced the butterfly dance! 🐛🦋🥰

We read 'Jasoer's Beanstalk' at The Little English House last week, and the children hadots of fun planting beans and sequencing the story. They loved eating their Jasper the cat snacks as well!

We learnt lots of farmyard words and noises after reading 'Farmyard Hullabaloo', and the children loved making their paper cup animals and singing songs with animal puppets!
