Once again it took me a long time, but I finally have a new mix out!

Things start softly in deep house territory, and unusually for me for a complete track, then my usual rhythm of a new track every 3 minutes or so kicks in and things get progressively...

No matter how talented a person is, to truly follow one's dream, one has to put some hard work into it... And as always, hard work is what went into this mix, to deliver you one hour of music....

I think DJs must make people discover new music, however to keep their attention it's useful to add some familiarity in the mix. Jackin House tends to overdo it, but in some cases the tracks do bring new life to old classics.

Speaking of which... this one features quite a lot of known vocals and riffs, including a couple of Thriller-era Michael Jackson ones, and it went down quite well.

FLCOO 028 - Winter Thriller I was in the mood for some uplifting house, after a long time during which I did not have the time to hit the decks, and since Michael Jackson's Thriller turned 40 this year, I thought that adding a couple of tracks sampling Thriller-era MJ could be a good idea... You'll tell me if I was right or no...

One of my guilty pleasures is walking around at night while listening to a good mix, and I find melodic and progressive house to be the best for this type of activity.

This mix was put together for that purpose and, having tested it myself, I must say that it was pretty effective.
