The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, which is made up of the Hemisfèric, the Science Museum, the Oceanogràfic, and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, generates an estimated 130 million euros annually of positive impact on local GDP.

This is equivalent to 2.2 euros of GDP in the Valencian community for every euro invested.

The design of the Museum of Tomorrow is inspired by the Carioca culture and, through its architecture, explores the relationship between the city and the natural environment.

Water from the bay is used to regulate the temperature inside the building; this source also supplies water for the Museum’s surrounding reflecting pools. The Museum also uses photovoltaic solar panels, which can be adjusted to optimize the angle of the sun's rays throughout the day and generate solar energy to supply the building.

HH Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, touring the UAE Pavilion, on his first official trip to the UAE, with HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Minister of Culture and Youth, HE Noura al Kaabi.

Giving a volumetric treatment to the roof and walls and creating a kinetic effect in contrast to the calm background of the vineyard, concave and convex surfaces are combined in the Bodegas Ysios Winery to create continuity between the surrounding landscape and the winery within.

Have a glimpse into Santiago Calatrava’s upcoming project in Taiwan. This multipurpose facility in northern Taiwan's Taoyuan is set to be a Performing Arts Center that will serve as a gateway to the university’s campus. Defined by its dramatically curved roof structure, the building will serve as a venue for exhibitions and cultural events and is expected to drive regional development with its links to transportation hubs.

The Ponte Sul Crati is Calatrava’s creative expression that connects two parts of the city. Standing over 104 meters tall, this cable-stayed steel structure is described by the mayor of Cosenza, Mario Occhiuto as “A bridge that looks to the future”.

The central, concrete arches of the central hall of Lyon St. Exupery Station are filled with glazed side screens; these side screens also fill the two outer steel spans of the concourse roof, stabilizing the structure while creating beautiful patterns.

The interior of the Zurich Law Faculty library is constituted of bright timber galleries surrounding an asymmetric elliptic airspace which reaches from the first floor up to the seventh one. Viewing the construction from the first storey, the balustrades of the floors seem to float in space.

The UAE Pavilion is located adjacent to and facing the heart of the Expo 2020, Al Wasl Plaza. The pavilion is designed to be one of the Expo’s greatest icons and one of the few permanent structures retained post 2020 Expo.
