I have been mentioning that parabens shouldnt be that underrated only as toxic materials - there is a lot of science and knowledge behind the tests with parabens.

Some years ago parabens have been deemed as toxic and cancerogenic leading to increasing paraben fear. In years to come parabens have been almost completely excluded from the cosmetics products.

As years went by, more comprehensive studies have been done and parabens became one of the mose researched ingredients we have - and that for good! No other skincare ingredient has been so exstensively studied. So now we can tell: paraben fear is way too exagerated.

Korean skincare is known to use mild and natural ingredients in their formulations. A brand SKIN1004 is therefore basing their skincare line on centella asiatica from madagascar. Are you also lost between those different wash off, leave in, keep for 10 or 20 mins hair care products? It is not more than just hair conditioning agents which are meant to improve the overall appearance of your hair.

It is expected that these products are not as powerful as the ones designed specifically for conditioning, because simply their formulation together with shampoo does not allow that. I would suggest using it if you never get brittle hair or you are in general happy with your natural hair look. It is also a great option while travelling. However, me personally, I am never getting enough satisfaction with 2in1.

✨Instant Conditioners
Due to the short contact time, instant conditioners are not the ones that impart the best conditioning, but they are effective at reducing the dryness caused by shampooing. Keep in mind, that they have to be washed out well to prevent an oily effect on hair.

✨Deep Conditioners
If the hair is severely injured and dry, it is recommended the use of deep conditioners because they are more concentrated than the instant conditioners. You can also switch between instant and deep conditioner on whenever your hair feels more damaged.

✨Leave in products
They usually contain silicones or other lightweight polymers, such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, that form a thin film that coats the hair surface and reduces static electricity. Leave-in and blow-drying conditioners are useful to prevent the damage caused by daily care routines and to grant thermo- and photoprotection.

Skincaring may not give immediate results, but your efforts will pay out! Treat your skin well and it will thank you in the future. I oftentimes get a surprised look from my patients if I suggest to wash their hair daily. - Isn't it too harsh on my hair?-, they ask.

There are quite some myths telling to wash your hair as little as possible, cause your hair may -get used to it- and will get fatty more. Well there is only partially true behind it.

All in all it depends on your hair type, your scalp and general health condition so there is no 1 golden rule of how often you should wash your hair. It is well known, however, that nowadays haircare formulations are so advanced, that certain shampoos are very suitable for every day use. So you DO NOT have to worry that every day wash will ruin your hair, as long as you take good haircare decitions.

It is easy to formulate a shampoo which will remove all of the sebum and dirt from the hair and scalp, but this will leave the hair, frizzy, dry, unmanageable and unattractive. In fact, some sebum not only protects but gives us some shine. Therefore, every day use shampoos should be rather mildly formulated, so you can enjoy your hair immediately after washing.
