My name is Dr. Patrik Künzler. I teach swimming for adults based on an intuitive method I have developed using my education as a medical doctor and neuroscientist. Today at the pool, another student did easy and balanced 50m freestyle, with fast dashes in between. Congratulations, Donna!
One of my beginner students just swam 800m by herself, another one got some good speed in her freestyle (crawl) for the first time today! So proud!
Another reason why swimming is good for you: I felt a head cold coming on, went to the pool to swim 1k, afterwards the symptoms were gone.

I also train Triathletes.
A world cup triathlete once said to me, "You don't win a triathlon in the swimming part, but you can definitely lose it in the swimming part."
For many triathletes, swimming is their weak spot because breathing, balance, and efficiency are more difficult to obtain in the water than outside.
I can teach you how to get your breathing and balance working in the water, so that swimming will no longer be an ordeal, but an efficient way to make most out of your upper body training.
