In the UK, chocolate tops the list, with 65% of people associating 🍫 with the Easter season.

🐣 But the Easter experience extends beyond just chocolate: Our proprietary research reveals a growing interest in North America for Easter-themed treats like cookies, ice cream and trail mixes. Exploring cocoa percentages: Ever wondered what 70% really means? 🍫

💡 70% refers to the amount of cocoa solids present in the product – the combined cocoa mass and cocoa butter content. So, if you pick up a bar that says "70% cocoa", it means 70% of that bar is made from 🫘 cocoa beans.

💡 The remaining 30% includes sugar, milk powder (if it’s a milk chocolate), vanilla and any other additional ingredients. Basically, it’s what makes a chocolate perfectly ⚖️ balanced and so tasty!

🧐 Good to know:

More cocoa doesn't always mean better quality. While higher cocoa percentages offer a more intense chocolate experience, it's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea. Quality chocolate is about balance – the perfect blend of cocoa, sugar, and other ingredients.
