As usual it was an incredible experience. Despite some initial network issues, the session quickly picked up and exceeded my expectations.
Ngong Sandra Nyangha always blows my mind in each session.

Not only was she knowledgeable and engaging, she equally provided valuable insights and practical tips that I can immediately apply to my content marketing strategy. The interactive nature of the class is what I equally enjoyed too. It kept everyone involved and made learning enjoyable. With a great teacher comes great students 🥰🥰🥰

I was watching this movie last night and I picked up a new word. One of the scenes featured an argument between a son and his dad. It went like this ;

Son : I wanted sugar

Dad ; And I gave it to you ..

Son : In polysaccharide form.

New Word :: POLYSACCHARIDE

Searching the meaning of the word and reading more about it, I realized a good content marketing strategy is like polysaccharides in nature. Let me explain further 👇👇

Polysaccharides are complex carbohydrates composed of long chains of monosaccharides units. They provide energy storage and structural support in biological systems.
Let's see how "polysaccharides" can be related to content marketing.

1. Monosaccharides Units: In polysaccharides, these are the building blocks linked together to form polysaccharides. In content marketing, these are individual content pieces like high-quality articles, engaging visuals, and interactive content that come together to form a cohesive whole

I always disagree when I hear people say smartphones and social media are bad.
I'd rather say we humans are the ones who use these technological gadgets and platforms in a bad way.

What if p**n stars don't upload p**n videos, will there be any to watch?

Before I go into my post I will want to say , if you are viewing this post and you were part of the online content creation classes organized last year by Ngong Sandra Nyangha , make sure you have a copy of this book. Its an eBook but I had to print mine out because I love reading paper books more.

Going into my post, the second image on the right caught my attention while reading the book . In the introduction of the book, she talks about certain myths around writing and the 5th myth relates to me a lot. I am not a professional writer but the few people who have gotten to appreciate my writing tell me I do good write ups.

Back in the university and now, many often asked and still ask me if I did arts in school. The answer is NO! I started as a commercial student from form 3 right up till university. I specialized in Business Studies (marketing to be precise).

Each time I tell people this, they are surprised because I speak and articulate better than most arts students.. I wasn't born this way, I developed this language skill.

Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a journalist, I will watch CRTV and listen to the journalists speak flawless English and I will be like "wow, I want to be like them".
I started by reading children's story books. . My all time favorite was "my book of bible stories" which was given to my by a Jehovah witness Christian. I can't count the number of times I read that book. By form 5, I had read over 200 novels.

One peculiar thing i did each time i read a book was, i had vocabulary book where I wrote down every new word I came across, its meaning, the part of speech to which it belonged and an example in a sentence.
Before I could complete a novel, I will find myself with at least 100 new vocabulary.
So you see, i didn't study journalism nor any literature related program. My commitment just like Sandy mentioned in that 5th myth helped me beat many others who may have had a background in the field.

I always say, we are born with talents but skills are learned and mastered. You can become a skillful/professional writer if you are intentional about it and do the needful.

In life you make it to the summit by celebrating those who have reached there before you and are going out of their way to pull you up too.

7 months ago I met this Amzing person in the name of leader Samuel Ngenge and he made a statement I will never forget for that has been my motivation ever since I joined this amazing team. It was his first time meeting me and He said;

"I see fire in your eyes and you have the potential to succeed"

Today I celebrate a leader, a mentor, a coach and a big brother on his achievement as Double Crown Diamond.
He is the perfect example of a leader who leads by actions and not by words.

Just being in his team you are a winner already.😊😊😊

Why being a perpetual consumer is Dangerous!!!

Two rich men once lived in a village. They rode the best cars, lived in the best houses, and their kids attended the best schools abroad and they could go for vacation in different countries every holidays.

They were living happy lives but to the dismay of many villagers who thought it was unfair for them to have everything while they had nothing.
So these villagers complained to the chief and he dicided to summon these rich men and told them that as per the villagers requests, they were to split all their wealth evenley amongst the whole village.

They didn't argue and went ahead to do as they were ordered.
So everything was shared and everyone in the village were of the same financial levels, these two men inclusive.

1 year later everything went back to the way it was before. The villagers returned to extreme povertey and the two rich men recovered all their riches down to the last dime.

The villagers couldn't understand how it happened and some even speculated witchcraft😂😂😂😂😂
But the reason was simple;
Every instutions in that village from hospitals to schools, hotels , banks snacks, shops etc were owned and run by these rich men.
So their money somehow came back to them through the systems they had built that was providing all the daily services and products consumed by the villagers.
While the villagers who were perpetual consumers spent all their money to get services and products they needed for their daily lives.

It is either you take the decision today to start building a system of your own and live like the two rich men or remain in your comfort zone of a perpetual consumer and live like the villagers.

THE POWER OF A SYSTEM!

A MUST READ!!

Once upon a time....
A village was facing an extreme case of severe drought which dried up all the river banks and water sources. People were suffering from dehydration, crops and animals were dying.
The chief gathered his people and promised a handsome reward to any one who will help the village.
Two men came forward and offered to bring solutions.

The first man said he will be supplying the village with water from the streams of the nearby villages but that each villager has to pay for each quantity of water they fetched.
There was a massive agreement to his solution.
So he went on to the neighboring villages and supplied the villagers with gallons of water. This went on for a period of time and he started wearing off due to the increase demands in water and limited strength to produce more given how time and enrgy consuming the task was. So he stopped working and his oldest son took over. Soon all of his children and wife joined in the process so as to supply more.

The second man had gone away for a while and people described his disappearance as cowardice. When he finally came back, he did not return alone. He came home with a team of engineers and they began digging tunnels and setting of tanks and drainage systems that connect water from the nearby rivers into the village tanks.
This system was set up in a way that all they needed to do was turn on the pipes at night and filled the tanks with water and supplied the villagers in the morning.
He also employed some villagers who were in charge of collecting money from those who came to carry water.

While the first man who had the mindset of a self employed was wearing himself and his entire generation off because they had to take over his business so they could keep earning an active income, the second man with the mindset of a business man carefully and patiently build a system that could continue making him passive income even when he went on vacations or at night when he was sleeping. He didn't have to be present and active to provide a solution to the village's problem.

That is the power of a system!!
