Charity and service to humanity remains our cornerstone for existence . As the world celebrates the African child on the 5th of June, we at AVHF call on our Facebook friends and family to join us in doing so as we visit the orphans in the neighborhood of Mendong Yaoundé.

Same Wednesday 29th June, 2022 during the afternoon session we received Mr Christopher; who presented on ‘THE ARTS OF NEGOTIATION AND RELEVANCE OF PARTNERSHIPS’.

Being a Business Development Expert, he enumerated on the 10 utmost rules of negotiation:
- Don’t Negotiate
- Don’t Negotiate with yourself
- Never accept the first offer
- Never make the first offer
- Listen more and talk less
- No free gifts
- Watch out for the ‘salamo’ effect
- Avoid the rookies regret
- Always avoid a quick deal
- Never disclose your bottom line

Apply these rules, and figure out clearly how they positively influence your negotiation ability and land you in a win-win position.

On Wednesday June 29th 2022, during our morning session we were very privileged to have Mr Neba as one of the expert trainers presenting on ‘PERSONAL BRANDING AND SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCE’.

He laid emphasis on the coherence of brand name, color and identity especially on social media. Also, made mention of associating with the right social groups as a means of public identity and values.

To empower a community and add your little effort to nation building give them the opportunity to obtain quality education. ❤️🥰😍😍😘

Tuesday 28th June 2022, we continued the training sessions with our presenters; Mr Ayeah James who gave lots of insights on Financial Management and Mr Christian Atogho presented on Project Initiation and Fund Raising.

These topics were of top notch relevance as the trainers shed more in-depth knowledge how to intentionally grow, manage and multiply our income.

Following the launch of the 1st edition of the AFRICAN WOMEN LEADERSHIP INCUBATOR PROGRAM (AWLIP) 2022, on the theme: Women Economic Leadership for Sustainable Growth, organised by the Asongwe's Virtue's Home Foundation (AVHF) from Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July 2022.
This platform trained over 20 women and young girls in the following disciplines:
- Leadership in Business
- Leadership in Social/Public governance
- Financial Management
- Project Initiation and Fund Raising
- Personal Branding and Social Media Influence
- The Arts of Negotiation and Relevance of Partnerships
- Mental Health and Time Management
- Digital Marketing and Multiple Streams of Income
- Relationships and Career Management
- Personal Development

The five (05) days incubator program which started from 7:30AM - 5:30PM had the following activities:
- Presentations by Experts (2hrs per trainer)
- Experience sharing/Story telling
- Workshops
- Affirmations
- Coffee breaks
- Lunch
- Networking
- Closing Remarks

Through a tough competition supervised by the Jury (Expert trainers); a Seed Fund was awarded for one (01) entrepreneurial project.

This incubator program is scheduled to run yearly with objective to promote more projects during her subsequent editions.

The Managing Director of the Foundation - Miss Nkoti Dione Rosemary; who is also the Coordinator of the Program is an advocate for Women Empowerment and Gender Equality.

Monday 27th June 2022 marked the beginning of our history-making in the lives of African women as AVHF launched her 1st Edition of the AFRICAN WOMEN LEADERSHIP INCUBATOR PROGRAM (AWLIP) on the theme: WOMEN ECONOMIC LEADERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH.

We analysed the basics of female leadership, its implication to sustainable Growth and God's Idea of female leadership. Our speakers Mr Alphonse Otsamzok and Mme Prudence Noutcha demystified leadership in all its forms while encouraging women to take up leadership responsibilities beginning from individual homes, communities and government. Our satisfaction and content came from the formidable practical knowledge acquisitions and mind transformation of the participants as they were levelled up into reality; relevance of women in leadership positions so as to fight poverty and boost economic growth.
