Prada’s original boutique, at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, introduced the Miranda July Hotline in person, with a landline telephone in an open vitrine that allowed for passersby to interact with the multidisciplinary artist’s voice. This Prada hotline extends Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, scripted by Miranda July and starring several Prada Ambassadors, to include the public, inspiring ambiguous, abstract, and possibly revelatory exchanges, each of them unique.
Prada Fall/Winter 2024 extends all over the world - and to individual phones, through the Miranda July Hotline.
Callers could “dial in” to speak with Miranda July, or rather, with July’s voice, which interprets conversation with the caller according to a pre-programmed script written by July herself.

A classic chevron pattern is made from satin ribbons that are cut at precise angles. A layer of 35 hand-tied, hand-secured bows, correspond to the design, each ironed to create the required balance of precision and movement on a Prada Fall/Winter 2024 dress.

Each satin bow on this Prada Fall/Winter 2024 dress is first cut, then delicately tied and hand-sewn onto a pattern of ribbons that have been expertly placed onto sablé panels lined with silk. This step is followed by a phase of steam pressing and drying to give the garment a worn effect.
The Prada Fall/Winter 2024 sablé dress is meticulously covered in hand-knotted and manually-embroidered satin bows, a masterwork of craftsmanship characterized by techniques that create movement and shape. The process involves 35 bows made from 50 meters of ribbon.
