Last week, we launched the first meeting for the group standard drafting of the "Hearing Aid Product Standards" in Shanghai. This milestone, supported by organizations like the National Institute of Metrology and the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, marks a critical step towards establishing comprehensive quality standards to elevate the hearing aid industry and better serve the needs of the hearing-impaired community. 🤝

We hosted the "2024 Beijing International Audiology Conference" from May 26-27 in Beijing, bringing together over 600 of the brightest minds in audiology. The conference featured academic presentations, case study sessions, and roundtable discussions on traditional audiology topics and emerging industry trends.

The exhibition showcases the latest hearing industry innovations. Thirty-nine leading domestic and global companies unveiled their innovations, from cutting-edge hearing devices to transformative chip solutions and rehabilitation services, promising a future where the boundaries of what's possible in hearing care are continuously expanded.

Together, we're not just witnessing change; we're driving it. Here's to creating a world where every sound matters and is accessible to all.

The National Speech-Language-Hearing Education Forum commenced once again in Chengdu this year. BSA extended invitations to experts, professionals, and teachers to participate in the discussion on this year's theme: Inclusive Education for Preschool Children with Hearing Impairments. We express our gratitude for the tremendous support from Nanjing Special Education Normal College, Chengdu Special Education Resource Center, Beijing Union University College, and Shenzhen Comprehensive Service Center for Persons with Disabilities.

Zdeer completed a follow-on A++ round of financing from existing shareholders this year and a B round of financing from Zhongjin Huirong, a subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation (CICC), with a total amount exceeding hundreds of millions of yuan. Established in 2014, Zdeer has been dedicated to home healthcare and has launched innovative medical technology products such as hearing aids, sleep monitors, nasal inhalers, and health lifestyle products.

On August 18, 2023, Boin made an announcement regarding the successful conclusion of a Series A financing round, raising nearly 100 million yuan. Junlian Capital played a leading role in this funding round. This landmark financing marks a significant milestone for Boin, positioning it as the largest recipient of funding among all Chinese hearing aid brands to date.

Sennheiser China launched their TV Clear Set 2 and Conversation Clear Plus earbuds. The prices are RMB3199 and RMB6299, the same price as in the U.S. market.

The 7th Beijing International Conference on Audiology was held in May 2023, covering traditional and new topics in audiology, such as the integration of artificial intelligence and hearing aid technology. The conference attracted scholars, experts, and the hearing industry from China, the US, the UK, Portugal, and Hong Kong. It also showcased 44 domestic and foreign hearing industry companies and institutions in the exhibiton. The event provided a platform for communication and cooperation among attendees and promoted the development and progress of the industry.
So as we say goodbye to the Beijing International Audiology Conference, let us celebrate its success and look forward to the many exciting developments that lie ahead in audiology research and practice.

Lori Lee, from the Bluetooth SIG , explain the next generation Audio standard - LE Audio in webinar season 7. This new audio standard is expected to enhance the audio quality of hearing aids and assistive listening devices. In addition, Lori will provide a detailed explanation of Auracast™ broadcast audio technology. This technology will provide a new audio experience for hearing aid or cochlear implant users, making everyday listening more accessible.
