Slow Boat Brewery

Slow Boat Brewery makes world-class beer in China's Capital, Beijing. SLOW BOAT BREWERY was founded in 2011 and is one of Beijing’s first craft breweries.

We make world-class beer that challenges how people think of Chinese beer. We live, breathe and drink these ales in Beijing, the capital of China and city we call home. Fresh and unpasteurized. No preservatives. No chemicals. Just great beer.

A couple of months ago, we re-launched our Soft Spot Hard Seltzer series with two new flavors and were absolutely floored by the response. These babies flew out the door! We ran out of both flavors before we even had time to start making more. For those who missed out or have been hankering for another taste, don’t worry. We’ve got two more flavors ready and they’re worth the wait!

Jasmine Lychee and Grapefruit Oolong are the flavors this round. Jasmine Lychee mixes lychee puree and jasmine flowers for a subtle and refreshing seltzer that’s perfect for sunny weather.

Meanwhile, Grapefruit Oolong blends fresh grapefruit puree and high-grade oolong tea for a sophisticated and powerful flavor combo that’s perfect for the beach or the boardroom.

Hard seltzer isn’t quite beer, but it’s close. It is a light and refreshing carbonated alcoholic beverage that is super light on carbs. Our seltzers are less than 1g/pint. Unlike many others who sell “hard seltzer”, our seltzers are naturally fermented in our brewery and NOT vodka or some other spirit diluted with water. This leads to a much cleaner and more refreshing seltzer. It’s a lot more effort, but we think it’s worth it!
