Save the date- 29. April! We are thrilled to host a special concert "The Sound of Silence "by the renewed acoustic guitarist Piotr Krępeć, from Poland, as the concert venue in Shanghai of his China Tour "Pure Tone from the Baltic".

We look forward very much to welcoming Piotr and listening to his beautiful music!

Special thanks to the consulate general of the republic of Poland in Shanghai for choosing our humble venue.

About Piotr Krępeć:

Piotr Krępeć is a polish acoustic guitarist and composer. His adventure with the guitar began at the age of 10. He started with classical music and found his path to jazz, where he discovered the new possibilities and the beauty of acoustic guitar. He was reborn as a compositor with new strength and power of passion to music.
In his compositions one can find a whole wealth of means of artistic expression. Above them, however, there are always sublime combinations of sounds and minimalism, which the artist values beyond all measure in his musical statement.
A regular performer at almost all acoustic guitar festivals in Poland. Krępeć has performed together with the icons of global fingerstyle, icons like: Andy McKee, Jonn Gomm, Calum Graham etc. Piotr Krępeć is the author of the music for the film "Travel with Hand Luggage" - dir. Arek Biedrzycki, qualified for the International Film Festival in CANNES 2012.
Krepec has already been invited twice to perform in China, during his tour in 2016, and then in 2018 as a special guest at the largest Chinese guitar festival “Zhejiang Guitar Festival”. He’s very grateful to be able to travel the world and bring his music to people from different culture.

Hello, dear friends! Apologises for the long silence here on facebook, the last year hasn’t been easy for us, due to the unstability and uncertainty, that many of you in Shanghai could relate to. Oftentimes we had to close just after one or two day.
We are very blessed with all the support from music lovers, friends and wonderful musicians 🙏
The business is running now as usual- there were a few nights with amazing atmosphere that it felt like the good old days ✨🎶
We have now daily/ weekly varied music program! The best is to follow us on WeChat, where we update regularly. I will also try my best to keep up here on page. Stay tuned 🙂

Dear friends, musicians and music lovers,
it's been far too long since we last saw you, and the past months have been especially difficult for everyone in Shanghai. It's time to get back together! We are back and we will be opening the doors to you again, due to the complications and restrictions at the moment, we won't be able to host live concerts but hopefully soon, we can keep the music alive again!
Here is a little reflection and welcome back:

We can't forget the day three months ago, the moment when we had to close the door of our House of Blues & Jazz, we were all left with complicated and heavy feelings, for none of us knew, how long we had to stay closed, whether it was temporary or permanent. No one would have imagined that this separation has lasted for three and a half months, being away from loving friends of the House, away from hugs and kisses, away from the cheerful jazz music…

Today, we can finally return to the House again, we can see our colleagues, friends and musicians who we haven’t seen for far too long, we can hug together, burst into tears together, listen to the beautiful music together, light candles, and open a bottle of champagne to celebrate-that we are finally together again, with cheerful singing and dancing, to savour the precious moments of happiness.

Hang in there,Shanghai !🙏💪🏻 Hopefully it will be over soon… and we can be back to bring you the music 🎶🎵 Sending love and strength to you all 🙂
