The 8th Electric City Fest is BACK! From the poster design concept to an even greater lineup this year, it’s all about "exploring more". Because it's time to finally!

There will be more awesome breweries from a larger area over the country joining this year. Meet the founders / brewers of the all the breweries without having to travel across the country. Electric City is a place where breweries, audience, performing artists and all other content creators connect and create more possibilities.

30+ breweries, gourmet food, and 3 days with talented artists bringing you various style of live music. One weekend, 2023 March 10th - 12th, let's go on a new adventure together!

8 years isn’t a short duration of time. In the early days we had good times in Baishizhou - wild parties and endless pints. We made great friends and built an inspiring community through our brews. Then Baishizhou was torn down, and we decided later to move to Nantou ancient city - a historical town renovated and resided with independent local business and projects. We moved in to this modern urban village in hope to present our brews and our concept “a table for all” to bigger audience. Bionic is always about sincerely sharing our creations.

When it comes to the time to celebrate our 8th anniversary, much words could be said but nothing is enough to express our admiration for those who have supported us through this journey.
Bionic wouldn’t be the same without all your support So we would like to invite you to celebrate with us. Let’s get together and share good times together like always.💙

Wednesday July 28th, join us for the Galactic takeover by Jing-A Brewing from the capital!
We will be releasing the fresh collaboration brew Starbase Gose, a classic gose brewed with fresh Guangdong starfruit and sea salt. Be the first to try it! You will also have chance to meet the Jing A co-founder Alex and the team and learn about the story behind our new release and other Jing A beers.

Bionic Brew started brewing in early 2014 and we opened to the public on 2014-07-07 down a small alley in Baishizhou. It's been an adventure over the last 7 years and we've made some great memories. Now we're in a new taproom in Nantou Ancient City and we hope you can join us for our 7th anniversary party on July 10th!🍻

June 12th, Bionic’s new taproom Bionic Nantou is officially open to the public.

The redevelopment of Nantou Ancient City is a great fit for us and we’re glad to be able to move here from our roots in Baishizhou village. We started in Baishizhou because of the culture, history, and authenticity in the village and for this new taproom, we continued the elements of cyberpunk and sci-fi known in our brand design.

Our new location allows us to try some things that we always wanted to do in Baishizhou but were never able to, like open earlier, offer more food options, and more drink options. With more comfortable inside seating and better internet we now serve as not just a gathering place for drinks but also a place to meet, eat, and work/study.

Our designer, Moodie Younis of California had this to say about our taproom concept. “Bionic’s new taproom was envisioned as a portal into a bright cyberpunk future. I hoped it would become a highly memorable place that transports people into an undercurrent of Shenzhen’s sci fi aesthetic, without being too dark and aggressive as most ideas of cyberpunk tend to be. Since Shenzhen is one of the most future forward looking cities in China, I wanted to craft a place that brings a sort of bright and glowing futuristic vision to life. The idea of the Bionic bunny jumping through space, turned into bands of neon light that flow through the bar… making the space feel like a sort of unique, cyberpunk neon hideaway within Nantou’s historic district.”

If you have been following Bionic for a while, you’re probably familiar with our old tradition Sunday Sesh. Gathering together with our community and enjoy daytime drinking, dancing or just chilling on a Sunday is always good time.
We’re kicking start this year’s first sesh by partnering with our favorite local coffee brand & roastery Hanover and our old friend & event curator Edo from Magma. This upcoming Sunday April 18th from 2-9PM at Hanover OCT’s sweet terrace, let’s get together!⚡️⚡️

Introducing Moon Rocks India Pale Lager. This is a Bionic x Wild West collaboration brew. India Pale Lager you ask? This is not your father’s lager! In fact, this one is totally anti-industrial!

Being a lager allows the hops and malt to clearly shine. Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops play well together creating big hop aroma and flavors complexity! Aroma and Flavors include White Grapes, Citrus Peel and a touch of Pine resin.

This beer drinks easy with a silky smooth creaminess as a result of 6 weeks lagering at 1 degree C. Moon Rocks finishes with a bit of malt sweetness plus an attention getting yet smooth bitterness. This is an IPL after all!

With a hefty 6.1% ABV and a robust 50 IBU’s, this is a lager that demands respect!
