Earlier this month, the 8th PKU-NUS Annual International Conference on Quantitative Finance and Economics took place at the Suzhou Research Institute of the National University of Singapore (NUS). From Automated Market Makers to financial flexibility, participants – including eight PHBS professors – presented their latest research findings, offering new perspectives and insights.

Launched in 2016, this annual conference, co-organized by PKU, PHBS, and NUS, has become a key platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration within the field.

Call for Papers: The Inaugural PHBS-IER Conference on “Financial Frictions for Firms and Households: Implications for Economic Development and Government Policies”

This conference is organized by Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS), in collaboration with the International Economic Review (IER). It will take place at PHBS in Shenzhen, China, on December 22-23, 2024. The conference offers the opportunity for conference papers to be considered for a special issue of the IER.

Authors are invited to submit their papers in PDF format no later than midnight (ET) on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
