SVG/APF
The basic principle of low-voltage three-phase three wire SVG/APF is that the bridge circuit with self commutation is connected in parallel to the power grid through the reactor. By properly adjusting the phase and amplitude of the output voltage at the AC side of the bridge circuit or directly controlling the current at the AC side, the circuit can absorb or send out the corresponding reactive current to meet its needs, so as to achieve dynamic reactive power compensation.

Today, we share a construction project to replace 35kV shunt reactors. This project is to compensate capacitive reactive power of long-distance transmission and distribution cables for 220kV substations of the State Grid. Due to the increase of line length, the original capacity is not enough to compensate, so it is necessary to increase the reactor capacity and replace the reactor with larger capacity. The construction difficulties of the project mainly include three aspects;
1. Since the distance between the building and the fence is small, and the reactor weighs about 24 tons, a crane of at least 80 tons is required, so the crane cannot be deployed. The crane can only be moved several times to adjust the lifting angle.
2. The reactor is moved to the room on the platform, and there is eaves on the roof, so the crane can not be directly hoisted into the room, and it can only be slowly moved to the room through rail and manual work.
3. Since the reactor room is relatively small, it is not convenient to remove the isolation switch and cable before, so the angle can only be adjusted manually for many times in the room to slowly move to the foundation.
Others are routine simple work, such as wiring, testing, painting, power transmission impact, etc. There are two sets of this project, with 10 manual workers, which takes 7 days.
