Congratulations to Dai Lian, a 2020 Yemeni doctoral student majoring in geoscience information engineering in the School of Computer Science of our university first author of a paper "Fast Hyper Spectral Image Classification Model Based on ETR Dimension Reduction and ELU Trigger Function." published in the famous journal IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (JCR-1, IF = 8.125, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In March this year, jointly sponsored by Wuhan Civilization Office and Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau, Wuhan Social Organization Service Center, Wuhan Volunteer Federation, Wuhan Charity Federation and Wuhan Community Volunteer Association, the sixth excellent voluntary service project selection and display activities were officially launched, after five months, through project organization declaration, recommendation of relevant departments, expert evaluation, comprehensive evaluation and so on. Finally, 10 of the "top ten voluntary service projects" and 10 "ten excellent voluntary service projects" were selected from 77 recommended projects.
At the scene of the event, trophies and certificates were awarded for the "Top Ten Volunteer Service Project" and "Ten excellent Volunteer Service Project".

Important Notice on Returning to China before August 31 for Scholarship Students at CUG

Dear all CUG’s international students in China and abroad:

According to CSC policy, all overseas scholarship students should return to CHINA before August 31, and carry out face-to-face study in class, otherwise, they will no longer be eligible for scholarships. Their scholarship will be withdrawn if you don't return to China at that time.

The 16th China College Student Computer Design Competition came to an end, and Indonesian student Feng Qiaoping (Yessy) won the China College Student Computer Design Competition with his work FRIEND - a companion training robot to help foreigners learn Chinese.
