The first domestically produced laser arc composite welding production line has been developed and manufactured by DIG and officially put into operation today at the Chinese ship Huangpu Wenchong.
The birth of this equipment has made China no longer completely dependent on imports, allowing "Chinese technology" to break through the situation of "bottleneck". This production line transforms the traditional double-sided submerged arc welding panel assembly into laser composite welding, increasing the welding speed from 0.5 to 0.6m/min to 1.3m/min. The method of welding one layer on both sides is improved to form one layer, achieving high-speed thin plate assembly while ensuring the improvement of product quality.
In the future, DIG will make further efforts and strive to be at the forefront of the global advanced welding and cutting process intelligent application platform!
