A Christian grace based blog on different subjects, Calvinism, Arminianism, lordship doctrine. We do not add works to the clear gospel.
We are pre-tribulational and believe our salvation is eternally secure. We also share Bible verse pictures. A Christian blog on different subjects. Blogs on being able to share the clear gospel as well is what is not included in the gospel of grace. Contending for the faith which I believe includes exposing the errors of Calvinism, Arminianism, Hebrew Roots, so-called Lordship salvation teachings,
The wolves are out accusing people of not having the Spirit and wanting to live in sin. They are like their father (John 8:44)
If your time is spent preaching loss of salvation, chances are you never have had it, because you didn't believe His Word.
You can never be good enough to get to heaven. You need Jesus, but what does that mean? Ask me.
"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
Stephen did this. Paul was in the crowd.
From my friend Alex Carreno
I am a Bible believer, grace based. Classic dispensationalist. I do not believe in lordship salvation, discipleship salvation, or any established religious/belief system that contrary to biblical context would claim that the evidence of being saved or assurance of salvation is in how one behaves or doesn’t behave; hence taking one’s eyes off the Savior and onto one’s imperfect self.
1 John 5 already settled what our assurance is, and so as a believer we rest in the testimony of God as being true in His eternal Word.
A believers’ assurance is only found in the object of their faith, which is the Person of Christ and His finished work that He alone paid in full. Not our works, repenting of sins, or lack of works, etc….
I believe in eternal security and that salvation is a free gift. The only requirement for salvation is to believe/ trust in Jesus Christ - His sufficient, paid-in-full finished work on the cross (where He paid for all the sins of mankind). That He rose from the dead as God the Son eternal who will one day resurrect all who have believed in Him as their Savior/Justifier - 1 Corinthians 15, John 3:13-18, John 14:1-4, and many, many other Scriptures that testify to justification by God’s grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone.
This is the biblical truth that Jesus alone saves. He saves us the instant we are persuaded to the truth/change our minds from unbelief to believing in Him alone as our eternal sufficient and only Savior..
I believe eternal salvation/justification is completely separate from a believer’s discipleship and growing in Christ after having trusted in the Savior.
I believe the Bible teaches that a believer should grow in their walk, in doing good works, in walking in the Spirit by reading the Word of God and learning by it.
I do not believe that a believer's lack of growth, or failure to conquer a particular hang up in life, is an indication that they were never saved.
I believe a believer who continually disobeys the Lord will be disciplined by the Lord however He sees fit, so that child will grow and mature, but I also realize that some believers are stubborn and/or rebellious.
God may decide to put them on a shelf as an unused vessel, He may withhold blessing from their life here on earth as a consequence. That believer may forfeit rewards in heaven that God may have for them, they may even have a very non satisfying life here on earth.
They may even be called home by God to heaven early for being a bad testimony or as a consequence of extremely bad choices, but God will NEVER EVER LOSE or FORSAKE any believer. A believer can NEVER PERISH FOREVER. God has already promised that, and
He is not a liar.
Believe Him.
Be cautious regarding those who are quick to mark and avoid without careful use of Scripture and witnesses. It causes division.
Don't try to figure out the motives of one who sows discord. Pray for them, sometimes attempting to reason with them often brings out more anger, contention and strife. Try to choose wisely who you choose as companions (Ps 119:63).
Pray for them: Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. Matt 5:44
Some have much anger.
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
Proverbs 10:11
The Word helps us there with how we should behave.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20
Praying for wisdom for us all when dealing with those who are contentious, bitter, angry, malicious (whatever it may be). We don't know what they're going through, or how they've been mistreated themselves. Best we can do is pray for them, and get on about our Father's business.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:17-18
Preaching to myself, not at any of you.
Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem. I bless Israel in the name of Jesus.
Pray for God's continued supernatural intervention. Pray for all men (1 Tim 2:16).
(Please, anyone I know that wants to tell me Israel is not really Israel, please don't bother.
Look in the Word. Israel is in her land (part of it). And God's Word determines who the are, and God who looks on the heart, knows who the remnant is. My job is to pray for them without stopping (Isaiah 62).
So many voices out there.
So much error.
Stubborn hearts. Proud and haughty teachers. Deceiving and being deceived.
Jesus spoke often of those who did not have ears to hear or eyes to see. And you read the parables and see the same spirit in people of today.
God told Moses these were a stiff-necked people (over and over).
God through Isaiah called them rebellious children who took counsel, but not of Him, and who devised plans, but not of His Spirit.
Daniel confessed Israel and been wicked, rebelled, departed from His precepts and judgments, ignored His prophets, been unfaithful with other gods, and not obeyed His voice. All of them had (as we have all sinned). And in all that, they had not prayed to their God, nor turned from any of their sins, nor understood His truth (before you add turning from sins is for nonbelievers to be saved, this is to a nation who already had a relationship with Him.)
God through Jeremiah called them stubborn rebels who walked slandering.
John the Baptist called them a brood of Vipers.
In Matthew 12, after these attributed His miracles to Beelzebub, committing blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, He too addressed them as brood of vipers.
Stephen, in his famous pre-murder sermon of Acts 6 and 7, called them stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears (no eyes to see no ears to hear). And of course, those hardened white-washed tombs plugged up their ears so they couldn't hear truth any longer and rushed him to stone him. (It burns, it burns -- the truth)
The Bible says rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. There are many who hold their words or the words of men beyond what is written in His Word (1 Cor 4:6). They purport to speak for God, call themselves pastors, evangelists, prophets, etc., and their words are not true, therefore as Matt 7:15-23 speaks of false prophets, we can know THEM by their fruits (which later prove to be self justification of many wonderful works). They do not have their trust in Him. Who He is and what He has done. They are helping. They are finishing. They are lost.
Will you be rebellious in what you have been taught in your religion or tradition, or will you ask Him, "show me Lord what Your Word says?"
It is a matter of life and death.
For you.
For your loved ones.
For any you might mislead.
This is eternity we're talking about.
Were you led to believe you had to 'do' certain things in order to receive the free gift of eternal life?
Maybe your church used terminology like 'commit your life', 'put Him on the throne', 'surrender all', 'repent from sin'?
Trouble is none of that is what the Word says. He asks us to believe on Him (who He is) and what He did for us. That simple.
People who do not know the Bible pretend to be scholars, teachers, pastors, and do not handle His Word honestly (2 Cor 4:1-6) and it's keeping you from the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
Has Subtle or Unbiblical language crept into our gospel? - Redeeming Moments It's easy to fall into church language of 'giving your life' or 'accepting Jesus as your Lord' when we give the gospel. Is this in His Word?
Believers, there are those out there who would steal your joy. Rejoice that your name is written in heaven.
The Bible says the Deliverer comes out of Zion. Yes, I am a Zionist and I support Israel's right to her land.
Getting into God's Word is like digging for buried Treasure. Spend some time hunting, you won't be sorry.
I saw some probably well meaning people likening the bullet's time to a Bible Passage in Eph 6:11 concerning the armor of God. But if Scripture was meant to be handled that way (It's not), why not start in Genesis?
Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. Gen 6:11
or Exodus?
Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the sons of Israel go out of his land.”
Do you want to say this 'consecrated his head' or has your guy already used Numbers 6:11 for that?
What about Job 6:11?
“What is my strength, that I should wait?
And what is my end, that I should endure?
And Prov 6:11 speaks of an armed man, surely that had to be what was meant?
Your poverty will come in like a vagabond
And your need like an armed man.
Or will you replace America for Israel and claim this from Hosea 6:11?
Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you,
When I restore the fortunes of My people.
Amos 6:11 is a good one to deal with the House.
For behold, the Lord is going to command that the great house be smashed to pieces and the small house to fragments.
Here is more you might not have considered:
“Can I justify wicked scales
And a bag of deceptive weights? Mic 6:11
Here's another one dealing with the head in Zechariah
Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Zech 6:11
Or use Mark 6:11 to somehow curse Butler county?
Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them.”
Or may the Lord forbid, you liken Trump to Jesus as some have done.
But they themselves were filled with rage, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus. Luke 6:11
I could go on, I think you get the picture.
All of us have taken Scripture out of context at some point in time but just dealing with Bible verses taken out of their context. Or numerology like this to make a point. We should be careful with God's Word, as we know He magnifies it above His name.
You know I actually saw a 'pastor' on the browser opening page say that God did not save Trump. He said this because if God saved Trump then why didn't he save the other man? Something to that effect.
I didn't continue reading, but yes, God did save Trump. For whatever reason, God knows, but he spared his life. God did the same for Nebuchadnezzar and yet he also humbled him and had him grazing grass like an animal for 7 years.
We don't completely understand God's ways and thoughts (Is 55:8-9) as much as He wants us to understand is laid out in His Word for us to discover if we want to apply ourselves (Pr 22:17-21), but to say something like that pastor did seems very foolish to me.
It's tiring in these last days of much apostasy to see such a famine in the law for the hearing of the Word (now in our land and across the world as it was when this was spoken to Israel). We have FB preachers and apostlelesses, and profit-eers and all sorts who claim to speak in His name. Like the enemy, knowingly or not, they are deceivers and deceived.
Friends, each and every one of you can be a Berean (Acts 17:11). You can prove all things as you hold fast to that which is good (1 Thess 5:21). You can get the multitude of counsel for safety (Pr 11:14), that would be those who speak from God's Word, are humble when you question them, thinking it is a good thing, and who have commended themselves to you over time by both their words and manner of life. Trust in God. In all your ways acknowledge Him knowing He'll direct your paths. Get feet time (Lk 10:38-42). Study with His approval as your desire before all else (2 Tim 2:15). Be a wise student, ask the questions as you study, keep talking to Him.
Who is it spoken to?
What is it about?
Where, when, why, how? if applicable.
Context may be a couple of verses, or a couple of chapters, or the entire book in many cases. Be willing to study. Do not handle His Word deceitfully as do some (2 Cor 4).
Just some quick thoughts for today, gotta go for Bible study, be in prayer for others, use your backspace key, remember the goal is to win some to Christ.
Open your eyes to see His many benefits and thank Him for each one. Psalm 68 & 103
Sorry, if your page says, Romans - Philemon is all that is to the church, I'm just not there with you.
A very short video encouraging believers to keep the gospel clear.
Secrets to Sharing the Gospel with Biblical Words When you share the Gospel, don't try to reinvent the Gospel. It is already clear in the Bible. So, use the Scriptural Words. Many try to modernize the Gospel...
I’m not equating Jesus to Donald Trump. But I am contrasting the difference between good and evil we see every day.
Today, my husband was watching golf as the kids were getting ready to leave. When I came back in from saying goodbye, and was working in the kitchen, there was a political commentator on one of the news channels. From his speech it wasn’t too difficult to identify him as a leftist. I don’t say Democrat (as all are not the same).
Anyways, back to his comments (and this is not verbatim as I likely didn’t remember exact words). But two things really stuck with me. It reminded me of the Pharisees and scribes and leaders who sought to trip up Jesus and hated him and wanted to murder him. They'd tone it down when afraid of how the crowds would respond. What is going on now reminds me of this very thing. They're calling for peace, when the poison of asps is on their tongues.
This commentator was speaking about toning down the divisive speech, saying 'after all we are all Americans’. He then said, ‘I HATE this hyper patriotic group. I HATE it.’ (So it's the patriots who have caused this).
After a couple more comments I audibly gasped when he said, ‘Don had a hand in this,’ and I tell you the way he said it was with disgust and venom (imho). And then a few sentences later, he seemed distraught that ‘this’ would probably win him the election.
So in his entire speech, he placed blame for this murderer who 'hates Republicans' and 'hates Donald Trump' on patriotism and Donald Trump. Back to the same rhetoric. Of course it would not dawn on them to consider how many years they have called Donald Trump and anyone who voted for him, N***s, extremists, domestic terrorists. Calling for people to accost us everywhere. Every mainstream news person, pounding daily into the hearts of their listeners, reasons to hate this man. Every political enemy, going after him with the agencies who are supposed to protect our country. Lies, lies, lies, each day, outrageous lies coming from them, 'celebrities' and talk show hosts. Censoring us while they flooded every form of media to slander President Trump and any who voted for him.
These people have blood on their hands. The blood of the disturbed young man. The blood of the man who died, throwing himself in front of His family to protect them. I instantly thought of John 15:13, Greater love hath no man that he give his life for a friend.
One thing that is certain, that I guarantee for each and every person reading this. We will all die. The Bible says it is appointed to each of us to die, then the judgment. There are no second chances in a made up place called purgatory.
For those of you who have been told that Jesus Christ is not God, or the half brother of Satan, or just a prophet, or just like you all will come to be -- you are in grave danger if you do not repent (change your mind) about any of these errors.
Jesus said, Unless you believe I AM (he), you will die in your sin. A few verses later He said, when you have lifted me up (crucifixion), you will know I AM (he).
Then again He followed up with:
Before Abraham was, I AM. (And they picked up stones to stone Him because He was identifying Himself as God).
He was referencing an Old Testament Scripture In Exodus that said:
And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
And He said this would be His name forever.
Jesus identified Himself clearly as God and eternal.
You are not gods. You will not become gods. There is One God, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God. They are eternal without beginning or end. The self-existing one. You were not pre-existing, that no one has ascended to heaven, and only He descended from heaven. He made it clear no one else had (for you who are Mormons).
All you have to do is look around you to see the miracle of His creation. You cannot look down without realizing He created man from the dust. The grains of the ocean all unique (like snowflakes). The rocks – different sizes, colors, striations (smiling thinking on my little grandsons that love to throw them, and little granddaughters that loved examining them).
Each plant with unique colored and shaped leaves, fruits, or flora just displaying His glory. The weeds and thorns, a reminder of the curse that we brought upon this perfect earth by our rebellion.
All of us have sinned, there is not one of us good enough to reach God. The Bible tells us our sins have separated us from Him. It also assures us that our righteous works are as filthy rags to Him.
So, those of you who attempt to reach Him through turning from sin, making promises, attending churches, tithing, etc., you have still fallen short. You cannot receive the free gift of eternal life through any good works. For it is not by works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His mercy He saves us (those of us who believe on Him alone).
Believing on Him means you don’t believe on something else to save you. Believing on Him means you believe He is who He said He was, and that you believe what He did for you in great love.
He gave His life willingly, paying for every single one of your sins on HIS cross. He died once (One offering of His body/blood) for all. He rose again from the dead as Scriptures foretold He would.
Because He is God, and as He said, He had the power to take His life back up again. Not one of you who think you become gods will take your life back up again. Only God can do that. He had the victory over sin, death and the grave.
Some of you out there think you have had the victory over sin. You are fooling yourself. You will sin until you die. If you don’t think so, ask someone in your family, your spouse, your siblings, your parents, a friend… ask them if you ever do wrong. God does not grade on a bell curve. One lie, one bad thought will not enter heaven. Christ is my righteousness, who is yours?
If you are resting on yourself, you’re done...
We can do nothing to save ourselves, or to contribute to salvation. Jesus did it all.
Jesus did it all.
Jesus did it all.
It is finished He said. (paid in full).
You want to keep paying? You will die in your sins.
You don't believe He is God? You will die in your sins.
What must you do to be saved?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
Time is short. Don't wait. No one is promised tomorrow.
Believe it or not, this is really not a political post.
I feel like people can/must/should see what is around them before their very eyes, but don't see to notice. Sometimes we are lulled into believing one thing. Other times we allow ourselves to be lied to, not hearing the voices using the same exact catch phrases (in politics or religion).
I've noticed this for years with news agencies, and not because someone pointed it out, but because I guess I have an ear for repetitive phrases and a mind that likes to research things.
Right now with the President people are coming unglued about his mental status. Why now? We've seen it for years. They've excused it as flubs, fatigue, or whatever the story of the month. Now they're concerned suddenly? I don't think so, you would seriously have to be blind not to see. Maybe that is all it is, the god of this age has them blinded.
Biden avoided debates last time, as it were, he hid in the basement. I don't have hatred per se' for the man, but I do hate the evil before my eyes. I hate seeing him touch a little girl inappropriately, pinch her private parts before a camera. As a mom, I can't say what I'd do, the mom in me would take over.
To see and hear of the diaries from his daughter regarding him popping in naked to her shower as a teen. God help her. There are many who have been through this type of an atrocity. It reminded me of the coloring book at Walmart with Joe coming out of the shower in a flag towel I think it was. What kind of imagery is that for children, to see this old man coming out of a shower barely covered? They should be coloring this? (FB removed those posts by the way).
Seeing his son taking naked pictures with his own niece (one of among so many despicable things in the Laptop that the media and his party along with our corrupt leadership of our three letter agencies -- they all willingly hid these things).
Taking bribes from hostile foreign governments is frightening really. He is a traitor to our country. He enriched himself, but it cost all of us regardless of political party. But what has happened with that? Why do we really not hear much anymore?
I know you all are aware of his many shortcomings, and many rulers in high places. But right now I'm just talking about the evil we see before our eyes, not only in high places in power in our gov't, but in 'churches' across the land, we see much corruption and deviance, and the ones that adhere to the truth of His Word are really fighting such a spiritual battle.
We see evidence of that battle here on FB, such confusion over what salvation is. Confusion is what the enemy of our souls brings. Fear is what the enemy brings. Accusations against believers is what the enemy brings. Twisting God's Word is something the enemy does.
So how will you know what's true?
For those of you who do not know what you believe, or are unsure, I would suggest you read through the book of John, but start with John 20:31. It will tell you WHY the entire book was written.
..but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Then pray, and humbly ask God to teach you as you read His Word. Notice how Jesus is identified as different titles or as Creator, or as eternal. See how many times you see Jesus tell people to believe on Him for eternal life. You will see Him telling of His death, burial and resurrection to come. You will hear Him tell of the Comforter He will send who will dwell with believers forever. You will see ten I AM statements in the book of John. Notice the miracles and wonder what it would be like to see these things yet reject Jesus. Notice the LEADERSHIP of Israel, constantly desiring to trip Him up and murder Him. But notice that Jesus said He gave His life willingly. No one took it from Him. He had the power to give it, and the power to take it up again. He gave Himself in great love for you so you could live with Him forever (John 10:17-18; John 15:13).
Just set in your mind to read or reread John. Surely you can see the world is not getting better. We hope for a respite from evil leadership, but this is a spiritual battle. Do your part. Vote, Pray, speak when you see injustice, but remember, it is a spiritual battle.
Our Nation may as a majority not know Him, but we are here for such a time as this.
There are lawkeepers everywhere. Those who think we >are to be under the law. But is that what the Scriptures say?
This will provide you with some Scriptures should you need them to refute those who would put you back under bo***ge.
Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? - Redeeming Moments Hebrew or Hebraic Roots, Lawkeepers, and all sorts of legalistic movements are cropping up in these last days, what you need to know.
If we can't share our position on something in love, with meekness & kindness, maybe we should clamp our hands over our mouths?
If all you speak of is your works, your goodness, & you don't speak of Christ & Him crucified -I'm concerned. It's all about HIM.
KEEP THE GOSPEL CLEAR: Turn from sin with His help after you're saved.
But do not add it to salvation or you have a false gospel.
