• Cuenta la leyenda que en una ocasión un joven indígena, desafiando el fuerte oleaje, navegó hasta la roca en su canoa, encontrándose con 3 hermosas jóvenes quienes se encontraban allí bajo un embrujo que les impedía abandonar el lugar. Cada una de ellas tenía un guardián: un toro, un anciano y un perro. El joven prometió no contar nada a nadie y regresar a rescatarlas, pero ya en tierra los demás marineros lo obligaron a contar sus aventuras rompiendo así la promesa y el embrujo no pudo romperse. Nunca nadie volvió a ver a las jóvenes que continúan hechizadas dentro de la peña. Dice la leyenda que cuando el mar está embravecido se puede escuchar el mugido enfurecido del toro dentro de la Roca.

Y es a partir de esta leyenda que nace su nombre la misteriosa Roca Bruja.
