Today we celebrate International Sloth Day! 🦥🌿

Costa Rica is home to 2 of the 6 species of sloths that exist worldwide: the two-toed sloth (Choloepus hoffmani) and the three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus).

In 2021, the sloth was declared a national symbol in our country.🇨🇷🦥
