In ceremony with the Master Teacher Plants, many times our mind can play tricks on us. Always best to return to a place of “love”. When the mind becomes consumed by negative thoughts or gets “stuck in a loop”, always best to track your breath, and center in your heart. LOVE!! Sometimes, that is all there is!! #.

Food. It’s very essence is so crucial to anyones’s healing. And the intention put into creating such is as important as the ingredients. Altar: a usually raised structure or place on which sacrifices are offered or incense is burned in worship-often used figuratively to describe a thing given great or undue precedence or value especially at the cost of something else (Webster’s dictionary). Here at Kambo@Cadita making our altars for our ceremonies brings us great joy. No matter how small or large, the altar creates a invitation to set intentions, review experiences, visit guides, or just gaze at the beauty and significance of the articles placed. Nadine says, “Altars are reminders of our connection to our guides”.

Integration. The meaning being “behavior, as an individual, that is in harmony with the environment”. Integration is the most important piece of the healing process when working with plant medicine. As Elizabeth Bast would say, “ the ceremony is 1% of the experience, Integration is 99%. Integrating the nuances of the experience so that we can incorporate the blessings we have been handed while sitting in ceremony. We here at Kambo Casita feel integration is key and never leave you “alone” after your time with us. Always a text or email away, you are supported back to homeostasis and to your “true self”. #

Listen to your thoughts, observe your actions. Notice when something feels good, when it resonates within your heart and soul. These are the signs you are in sync with the universe. The African plant Iboga shows us when we are hurting ourselves or behaving in ways that are not in sync. The Bwiti would say, “Diboti Iboga”.

Always remember that who you surround yourself with is a direct reflection of who you are. As Nadine would say, “know the difference of the one that takes, and the one that would teach you, and only let in the people with the highest integrity into your life”.
