Meet the college: Residential Life
Orientation has started with our new wave of students and staff and it's the perfect time to reintroduce our Management Team! ⚡️ Natalie leads the Residential Life program, managing and overseeing the extensive and dedicated Residential Life team. Composed by Residence Coordinators (RCs), doctors and nurses, phycologists, student volunteers, and more, this team makes sure all students in our eight residences have all the tools they need to make Costa Rica their second home. Residential Life, Academics, and Co-Curricular all complete the UWC Costa Rica educational experience. 💕 UWC

Orientation has started with our new wave of students and staff and it's the perfect time to reintroduce our Management Team! ⚡️ Luis is our Co-Curricular director, overseeing all the co-curricular activities at college. All the CAS Experiences, MUN (Model United Nations), AoC (Agents of Change), Conociendo Costa Rica and Community Action Weekend outings, and their biggest project, Community Action Week, are led by the co-curricular team. Co-Curricular is one of the three core programs of our experiential learning model, along with Academics and Residential Life, making the UWC Costa Rica experience unique. @uwcint

Orientation started this week with our new wave of students and staff and it's the perfect time to reintroduce our Management Team! ⚡️ Paula is our Academic Director. She's in charge of everything academic at our college, making sure our faculty and educators are properly following the International Baccalaureate requirements. Academics, in conjunction with Co-Curricular and Residential Life, form the Educational Area and the complete experiential learning experience of our students. 👏 UWC

Orientation started this week with our new wave of students and staff and it's the perfect time to reintroduce our Management Team! ⚡️ Annette is our Admissions director, overseeing the admissions process for all students admitted at UWC Costa Rica. She and her team support students with all their visa and travel arrangements, manage payments and scholarships, and promote our college for future candidate students to join the movement. UWC

He oversees all the progress of each area and program, making sure our 2022-2027 Strategic Plan is being implemented correctly. He's also one of the leaders in the development of our new campus in San Isidro de Heredia. United, we can meet the challenges of climate change and support the possibility of offsetting our carbon footprint. 🌱💚 **Regeneration and Conservation:** Our new campus will support the regeneration and conservation of 93 acres (38 hectares) of forest adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park, Costa Rica's second-largest national park. This effort will contribute significantly to the protection of our biodiversity and ecosystems. 🌳🦋 **Experiential Learning Experience:**. As part of our Sustainability and Innovation Center, students will actively engage in the experiential learning experience. They will be able to learn first-hand about sustainable practices and environmental conservation, empowering them to be the change they want to see. 📚🌿 **Contribute to Costa Rica's Decarbonization Plan:**. Our initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration. It will be a joint effort involving academia, government institutions, and students, all working together to mitigate the effects of global warming.
