A very quiet place, with a family atmosphere, customer service was very good, and it has many amenities. Excellent ✨

Rooms: The rooms were very clean, really comfortable.

Nearby activities: All activities very close to the hotel due to its location.

Safety: Excellent security, we felt very safe since it has gates with controlled entry

Walkability: Due to its location, you can walk through the center of Tamarindo and enjoy the place.

Food & drinks: They have a small kitchen and provide morning and afternoon coffee.

Noteworthy details: They have computers, very good Wi-Fi and it is also important that they have laundry services.

In walking distance you will find a local supermarket (100meters), local banks are just around the corner, beach is 200 meters away, you will have access to all the restaurants and nightlife on foot. On our street you will have access to a kids park and skate park.

At Villas Macondo you dont have to go far to experience the beauty Costa Rica has to offer. Here in this photo taken a couple days ago... a family of Howler Monkeys (or as the locals call them Congos) enjoying our Mango Tree.

Named for their throaty howls that can be heard for up to three miles, howler monkeys are the loudest of all New World monkeys. There are nine species of howler monkey, and Costa Rica is home to the common mantled howler, which inhabit parts of southern Mexico, Central and South America. Howler monkeys usually vocalize at dawn and dusk by passing air through a specially-adapted hyoid bone in their large throats. The result is a deep, grunt-like call that resonates for miles. These vocalizations are used to mark territory and communicate with others within the troop.

Tamarindo toma su nombre de los árboles de tamarindo que bordean su costa alrededor de la playa. Lo que antes era un pueblo de pescadores, es ahora una de las zonas de playa más populares en Guanacaste.

Surfistas encantan el ambiente relajado del lugar. Y amantes de la playa pueden disfrutar de los rayos del sol en esta hermosa parte de la costa del Pacífico.

El mar es cálido y el sol es caliente todo el año garantizando un excelente ambiente para relajarse.
