Mikser, powered by the Nunc furniture manufacturer from Slavonia (Croatia) is launching a special edition of the Young Balkan Designers Competition, creating a unique opportunity for the next generation of Balkan designers to join Nunc on its mission to reinterpret the region’s rich tradition and culture into innovative and recognizable contemporary design products.
The Jury will select the most inspiring works to be exhibited at the YBD for NUNC Exhibition during Belgrade International Furniture Fair, where NUNC product development team will choose the projects to be further developed into real NUNC products and exhibited at the famous Salone del Mobile.Milano.

Theme “Here and Now – Hybrid Solutions for Contemporary Living, Work, Exchange, and Play” calls for sustainable, smart, flexible design solutions for the ever-changing environments and circumstances we live in nowadays.

 Education reform - the return of the dignity of educational workers and institutions and the introduction of additional educational, ethical, preventive programs to raise awareness about the development of positive social values and personal growth
 Urgently stopping the promotion of violence in the public - regulating and sanctioning media chaos and sensationalism, abolishing the possibility of harmful content in all types of media, traditional and digital.
 Put expertise before politics - we must stop the distribution of public resources among political parties, and provide mechanisms to protect the public interest
 Creating a healthy business environment - through regulated ethical and business codes, sanctioning nepotism and corruption."
