In the next couple of days we are excited to announce a few evangelistic events showcasing the visiting speakers, Ann and Lindsay Brown.

Ann Brown is the author of Apology to Women: Christian images of the female s*x. A native of Wales, Ann has travelled widely in Europe speaking in universities.
She studied Geography in Aberystwyth University, Art History in Oxford, and Theology in Paris.

Ann will speak at the first event this
Friday at Dom Omladinje, at 19.00:
Jesus through the lens of women, a fresh look at women in the gospels.


"Illustrated with artwork predominantly by women artists that focus on the groundbreaking portrayals of women in the gospels; this intervention celebrates the inclusion of women in the first century texts. Jesus was revolutionary in his treatment of women. His behaviour highlighted the bias and discrimination of his contemporaries. He upended first century expectations by including women among his followers. Named and unnamed women are evident throughout his ministry. The lecture is illustrated by the work of women painters of the past as well as contemporary artists."

On Saturday she’ll be giving another lecture in George Bar at 18:00: Investigating Mary Magdalene.

"Mary Magdalene has long been a fruitful source of inspiration to artists and filmmakers. We explore the twists and turns in her controversial story. The Magdalene’s dubious reputation is called into question. Please don’t miss the opportunity to come and listen to the topics themselves but also to invite friends that might be interested in the topics."

Lindsay will also do two talks on Friday and Saturday (you can find info in the attached file).

Be serious and more committed in relationship with God and our holiness.

- Lets nothing move you.
Always have focus and priorities from nothing can move you aside.

- ALWAYS give yourself FULLY to the work of the Lord, because you know that labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Pray that we can serve God in every oportunity with gifts He entrusted us. God will lead us and every work for Him with clean motives and passionate hart God will bless.
