Felix de Rooy (Curaçao, 1952) heeft met zijn multidisciplinaire kunstenaarschap een indrukwekkende loopbaan opgebouwd. Hij inspireert met zijn veelzijdigheid als acteur, filmmaker, kunstenaar, theatermaker, curator, verzamelaar, beschouwer en maatschappijcriticus generaties in Nederland en ver daarbuiten.

On April 30, 2024, the community of Bonaire and visitors celebrate the 35th anniversary of Dia di Rincon, the oldest village built in Bonaire by Spanish settlers in the seventeenth century. The cultural festivities started with a vision of politician Francisco 'Broertje' Janga to preserve the cultural heritage of his hometown, Rincon. He saw an opportunity to put Rincon on the map by promoting the intangible culture. This led to the first Dia di Rincon in 1988. Dia di Rincon nowadays is an official holiday Bonaire.
