🏌️ Cyprus Senior & Super Senior Amateur Men’s & Ladies’ Open 2024

The competition takes place on September 21st & 22nd, with the registration desk open today for competitors.
Competitors are welcome to practice on the course today ahead of the tournament.

We're excited to welcome you to our 2-day autumn golf event at Elea Golf Club on Thursday, September 26th, and Saturday, September 28th!

🕒 Thursday, September 26th will feature a Texas Scramble with tee times starting at 7:30 am. Enjoy coffee and bacon rolls served from 6:45 am, and stick around for special food and drink offers on the Terrace as you cheer on the other teams.

🕒 Saturday, September 28th will be an AM AM format with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. Breakfast rolls and coffee will be served from 6:45 am, and after the game, join us for a BBQ buffet on the terrace where we’ll present the prizes for both days.

🏆 Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places on both days. Only one prize per team.

We seek to recruit an experienced full time employee for the Golf Operations department at Elea Estate Golf in Paphos.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the golf.
• Work co-operatively and collaboratively with other team members, sharing and co-ordinating work tasks, contributing jointly to the overall effectiveness and success of the team
• Assist with members/players bags in storage, including taking bag out ready for golfers and cleaning and storage of bag at completion of golfers play.
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the practice facilities, ensuring range ball supply is maintained, tees are in place, buggies are cleaned and appropriately prepared and equipped.
• Ensure all operational areas are presented in a tidy and clean manner.
• Provide assistance in other departments and areas of the Club when and as required.
• Assist with all golf course directives, rules and regulations, including enforcement of golf regulations, pace of play, local rules.
• Assist in any other tasks or administrative duties as required and instructed by the Golf Operations Manager.
• Attend Staff Meetings as requested.
• Address customer needs, comments, and complaints.
• Be available to members/players to assist with various needs or questions, maintaining the reputation of the golf staff as friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
• To ensure highest levels of members’ and guests’ satisfaction

Qualifications:
• Previous work experience in similar position will be considered as an advantage.
• Good knowledge of English language. Knowledge of Greek language will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to drive golf carts.
• Ability to resolve queries in a proactive, practical and positive manner.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Checking guests in, making reservations, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and check guests in upon arrival.
• Manage and schedule tee time reservations.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Provide information on golf course policies, rules, and events.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
