Blackberry's journey after spaying 🐇

Little Blackberry came in to be spayed by MVDr.Anna-Maria Mina after a thorough consultation with her owner. The surgery was scheduled and performed with success.
Blackberry healed beautifully and could not be any happier now.

Paphos Lost and Found Animals

This female puppy was brought in the Vetnccy LTD Veterinary Clinic. on Saturday. Has one blue and one brown eye. No microchip , has a new seresto collar on. Currently staying with the lady that found it.

The patient presented with violent coughing. Bronchoscopy revealed this foreign body inside the lungs. This kind of grass seed was the cause of the violent coughing but it was retrieved on time.
They cause the most trouble during the late months of spring and throughout summer. Dogs are especially at risk. Outdoor cats as well but since they are fastidious groomers and adept at removing grass awns before they cause trouble.
Foxtails make their way into noses, eyes, ears, mouths and just about every other opening of dogs' bodies including the ge****ls. They can burrow into the fur and pierce the skin. Clinical manifestations of this foreign body are abscess formations, tissue damage, pe*****te organs and even continue travelling throughout the body.
They are invisible on x-rays.

What to do: CONTACT YOUR VETERINARIAN IMMEDIATELY

TECA-BO is primarily recommended in cases of chronic, end-stage otitis in which medical treatment is no longer helping the patient. This procedure may also be recommended in dogs and cats with neoplastic growths within the ear canal.

VETNNCY Veterinary Clinic Geroskipou is currently seeking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse.

Job Summary:
-Confidently handle and restrain animals
-Provide nursing care to hospitalised patients, including patient monitoring and health checking, feeding, grooming and walking animals
-Administer treatments including injections, tablets, fluids and blood transfusions
-Perform diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays
-Prepare animals for surgery and perform some minor procedures, e.g. suturing wounds and dental hygiene
-Monitor anaesthesia
-Assist Veterinary Surgeons with operations
-Communicate with pet owners, gaining their trust and reassuring them about their animal's treatment
-Educate pet owners on animal health, including vaccinations, worming, flea prevention and appropriate nutrition
-Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the practice
-Punctuality is a must

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Proven experience or qualification as a Veterinary Nurse
-Patient and caring personality & excellent communication skills
-Ability to communicate with pet owners, veterinary surgeons and people from a range of backgrounds
-Effective teamworking skills, as you'll be working closely with veterinary surgeons and other professionals when caring for patients
-Strong attention to detail, particularly when administering medications and monitoring multiple patients
-Remaining calm and composed in stressful situations and work well under pressure when dealing with emergencies.

Job Summary:
-Assist the doctors and technicians with restraint and other responsibilities
-Provide for the constant cleanliness of the hospital, as well as all patient wards, cages and runs
-Responsible for the daily care of our patients, including walking, feeding and recording of animal weight, appetite, and other information as directed
-Help the doctors, nurses, technicians and receptionists in all duties of the hospital
-Punctuality is a must

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
-Patient and caring personality
-Comfortable being around animals (cats, dogs, small mammals etc.)
-Ability to follow instructions properly
