Hi folks....
I'd like to show you a couple of colour correction pictures that I have done over the last month...

First lady Sarah has very fine hair and she had bleached her hair at home...it needed some love..♥️I applied lowlights in a soft warm tone...not too dark..after being very blonde it is hard for people to adjust to the perceived darkness...I can always add more on another visit..
Finally a toner was added at the basin to pull the look together...
Time wasn't too long around 3 hours...including the cut and blow dry to add volume and structure...let me know your thoughts ..

This style really works for her ...the colour is a medium natural blonde with a bit of extra sparkle to stop things looking flat...High lights are added as and when needed...notice the seamless blend...

Hi folks....

Jeans hair for a long time had been various types of bob with natural highlights...and she was fed up with it...it was too hot to blow-dry and maintain in the heat of summer and most of the time looked flat...

We settled on a pixie style that could be a wash and go for the summer ...or finger dried with some Nook Extra Volume Milk Primer for a more formal look for going out... natural lowlights in a golden warm brown that are refreshed every 3 months..

Me again (Emma), I would like to share another beautiful colour I’ve done recently.
Lovely girl walked in wanting to have natural highlights as previous growing out.

Using 27 foils through the top and front section, doing baby fine highlights to get a natural look, following the natural growth pattern.
Once developed in foils, washed and then a honey toner run through all over to blend in together.
Once again very happy customer ❤️

Ann’s hair is naturally white but during the summer with the sunshine it goes a little bit yellow on the ends and top section.

I applied a milkshake treatment with Nook No Ammonia Organic colour.
The formula was mixed especially for her to remove the yellow and add shine ✨

We think it looks beautiful, very happy customer 🥰

Autumnal tones chosen to suit skin tone...balayage technique ... 5 hours.. Plex system used for strength....porosity treatment used to stabilise the colour as Georgina was previously much blonder after the summer...

Firstly thanks Jacquie for allowing me to share a picture of your hair❤️

Foil placement is key here.... you will notice there are more highlights at the front than at the back, this allows a seamless fade into the solid colour at the nape.

Product used Nook black bleach...Plex system added for strength and condition. In-between the foils Nook organic colour applied to create depth and dimension..

Everyone of my clients have their own formula created just for them... Jacqui's formula a rich coffee brown.. the highlights to a biscuit shade....

Hi folks...

A few weeks ago Claire came into the salon clutching a nylon halloween wig ...and asked if I could make her hair this colour...
I said ...'yes, pretty close I reckon'

An appointment was made for today...

7 hours later..with back to back foils alternating with a double highlight ...Nook clay bleach and Nook organic tint...full head around 110 foils.
Root tapped tint followed by a final toner to pull the whole look together...reconstructive and anti oxidising treatment applied at the basin to bring the hair back to a ph 5.0 level..

Gazillions of foils for Carol... !!!

The last time we did Carols hair was 18 months ago..normally it is a yearly job....but for along time we thought it looked ok so left it...

2 and a half hours to apply the foils... 3x colours ....and Voilà

This will last Carol at least 12 months as the grow out is subtle ..

Natural warm tones.....

Todays show and tell is a full colour correction on naturally curly hair....My lady's hair had a lot of orange exposed at the roots from a previous colour, fading out to a white end.

The target colour was a more natural warm beige tone.

Over 150 baby light foils were added with a mixture of bleach and 2 different shades of tint breaking up the existing colour ..
A root tap and a final toner to pull the whole look together .. Evoque Plex system added throughout to maintain hair integrity and strength .

I finished off the look with Nook curl control milk and curling wand...start to finish five and a half hours...a beautiful natural colour ...

I loved her curls too!!!

First beautiful lady... Inspo picture Jamie Lee Curtis .. but with the fringe off her face..

My second new lady had grown out her previous highlights , after a consultation we agreed on a brighter, lighter look that would easily grow out without too much of a demarcation line...and a trim to get rid of the dry ends...

Both ladies were very happy...I was so proud to have pleased them ...

I cut and coloured Tina's hair today ..the colour is a very natural shade...with a blonde highlighted balayage in the front ..
The cut is and inverted, textured Bob.. .it's a whole new look for her ...really accentuating Tina's features...

Today's post is Janice's story .. back in June, Janice said she would like to change her hair ...Circa 12 years we have been tinting darker shades ..with reds, purples and pinks... So I warned her of the process...it would take time ...and there would be some pretty unusual colours on the way...and she would have to live with them for a while, while the hair recovered..in September we got there...and the hair has kept its integrity..strong and no breakage....here is her story in pictures....let me know what you think of the final result...

Conny's hair is a chestnut root melt...the ends naturally lighten during 7 weeks until she come for her next treatment...then we apply the colour and semi blend it to the ends to createthis effect...the trick is less is more ... Condition is key....❤️

This is a before and after...as per I forgot to do a 'before' shot! So Georgina kindly sent one through later that day.... anyway the dark colour was the before and the after is the blonde highlighted/balayage effect .... This took around 5 hours...lots of Chainplex ... Slow and low bleached foils...root melt technique.. Evoque heat protection spray. The finished result a really nice natural finish that will require less maintenance...❤️
