Last weekend we celebrated our company’s birthday!🎉

For three amazing days, we enjoyed a variety of activities that kept us all excited and connected.

We started with a facilitation training that got everyone thinking and collaborating. Then, we had an open-door team-building event that brought us even closer together🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️. In the evening, we dressed up for a beautiful gala dinner, where we shared laughs and good times 💃The next day, we hit the water for some wakesurfing and SUP surfing, which was a thrilling way to end the celebration.

These three days were full of joy, warmth, and a strong feeling of togetherness❤️.

A big thank you to our MICE expert, Olga Smirnova, who did an incredible job organizing and planning our celebration. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Luxurious Royal Tombs Discovered in Cyprus 👑

Researchers from the University of Gothenburg uncovered burials dating to between 1500 and 1300 BC. The tombs were discovered near the ancient Cypriot city of Dromolaxia Vizatzia, not far from the site of Hala Sultan Tekke.

The excavation revealed underground burial chambers where they found skeletons adorned with luxurious diadems and necklaces, as well as a plethora of valuable burial gifts made of gold, precious stones, and ivory.

💬 “We found more than 500 intact artifacts in just two of these burial chambers. Many of these objects are made of precious metals, gemstones, ivory, or high-quality ceramics,” Professor Fischer had said.

Cyprus Airways has welcomed two new Airbus A220-300 to its fleet.

According to Cyprus Airways, the A220-300 boasts attributes such as fuel efficiency with a 25% reduction in fuel burn per seat.
Furthermore, the A220-300’s advanced features, such as the PW1500G Geared Turbofan engine, contribute to a 50% smaller noise footprint and superior single-aisle comfort, offering wider seats, larger windows, and increased overhead stowage space 💺

“Cyprus Airways is committed to sustainable travel and our philosophy is exemplified by the A220-300 aircraft. This aircraft will play a pivotal role in realizing a greener, more sustainable travel experience and superior comfort for our customers,” said Paul Sies, CEO of Cyprus Airways.

Cyprus Airways’ A220 is configured with 134 seats and 12 seats for business class passengers. Its first flight will take off from Larnaca to Dubai on August 2. It is expected that A220 will operate to the airline’s most popular destinations🌍
