My Melody is one of the sweetest and cutest rabbits from Sanrio! Known for the signature hood that she wears above her head, My Melody is loved by Kawaii fans all around the world. She’s a kind and girly bunny - the exact opposite of her friend-slash-rival, Kuromi! Next to Hello Kitty, My Melo is actually one of Sanrio’s oldest characters.

Born in the magical forest of Mariland, My Melody is a kind and good-natured girl. This cutie was first introduced in 1975 as Sanrio’s rabbit version of the Little Red Riding Hood. That’s why you always get to see My Melody wearing a cute little hood above her head! She never goes out without her hood!

If it isn’t clear enough to see with her floppy ears, My Melody is actually a bunny! My Melody lives together with her rabbit mother and father in Mariland. She’s a kind, sociable, and optimistic girl.
