This lovely patient relapsed from his past ortho treatment which was then wrongfully "corrected" with some failing composite bonding. He presented to our office with severe gingivitis and chipped composite bonding. The top photo was taken after the composite was removed and his re-ortho invisalign treatment was completed. We then proceeded with some in-office whitening followed by some gingivectomy and an on tooth 11. A single central is always a challenge but it's fascinating to see how much the smile as well as the patient's confidence can be elevated just by improving a single tooth using the right materials!

A lovely patient with a challenging case makes for the most rewarding of cases! Another case where whiteness requires caution! Anyway, lots of work was done here, perio, crowding, crown lengthening on the premolars, extensive caries and management of discolourations! 6 full contour were made from canine to canine and crown lengthening with cervical composite on all premolars.

Wide smiles often come with a big heart... Here this is definitely the case! So, we raised the bite using bilateral implants followed by screw-retained bridges on the lower jaw at an increased OVD! We then restored the 6 upper anterior [front] teeth with full contour zirconia crowns regaining both function and aesthetics! Remember, white is not always right! The lower incisors were also restored in terms of shape using composite bonding on the incisal edges. Happy patient, happy me!

Gotta love the challenge of single tooth replacements! This lovely lady presented with a worn down baby canine which we turned into an adult canine using a full contour zirconia crown!! A lot of work went into this one, starting with the extraction of the impacted adult canine, crown lengthening to reposition the buccal gumline followed by a purely digital workflow along with some mastery by .makris.dental !

If it ain't right, make it! This lovely patient presented with a short unsightly all-ceramic crown on the right central. He only wanted to redo the upper right central, henceforth a great challenge was born! For those who don't know, single centrals make up the most detailed and challenging aesthetic cases in prosthodontics. Furthermore, the mesio-distal space was noticably wider than the neighbouring central so we had to make the internal line angles narrower to create the illusion of equal proportions without leaving any spaces. Moreover, covering up the discolouration is our bread and butter, with several tricks up our sleeve! A wonderful full contour with ceramic layering executed perfectly by .makris.dental did the work!
