Αθλητική αναρρίχηση στην Κύπρο: Το πρόσωπο της απογοήτευσης

Αυτό είναι το πρόσωπο ενός παιδιού που προπονήθηκε τα τελευταία 6 χρόνια στην αθλητική αναρρίχηση εδώ στο Κέντρο Αναρρίχησης της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας.
Είμασταν όλοι τόσο ενθουσιασμένοι που ξεκινήσαμε μια νέα χρονιά αναρρίχησης.
Δυστυχώς ήρθαμε χθες για να μάθουμε ότι το γυμναστήριο έκλεισε σύμφωνα με οδηγία του ίδιου του ιδρύματος, που θα έπρεπε να παρέχει ευκαιρίες σε αυτά τα παιδιά: τη σχολική εφορεία.
Γιατί αυτό δεν είναι ποδόσφαιρο. Γιατί αυτό δεν είναι μπάσκετ. Γιατί είναι διαφορετικό. Γιατί δεν φέρνει τους ψήφους.
Για όσους δεν είναι εξοικειωμένοι με το άθλημα, η αναρρίχηση είναι πλέον μέρος των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων
Το Κέντρο Αναρρίχησης της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας, το μοναδικό γυμναστήριο με προπονητικούς τοίχους στην Κύπρο, είναι ένα κοινοτικό γυμναστήριο που υποστηρίζεται από τη σκληρή δουλειά και την αφοσίωση θαυμάσιων εθελοντών και τις ελάχιστες επιχορηγήσεις από την ΚΟΑ. Οι εκπαιδευτές και οι πρακτικές ασφαλείας μας είναι πιστοποιημένοι από την ομοσπονδία που είναι μέρος του διεθνούς οργανισμού UIAA

Είστε προσκεκλημένοι να παρακολουθήσετε τους παιδικούς αγώνες αναρρίχησης Komooap! Είναι μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν τα παιδιά ένα διασκεδαστικό και συναρπαστικό άθλημα. Οι νεότεροι αναρριχητές μας ( 6-14 ετών) θα προσπαθήσουν για το καλύτερο δυνατό σε νέες προκλητικές διαδρομές ειδικά σχεδιασμένες για αυτόν τον διαγωνισμό. Ανοιχτή είσοδος. Απαιτείται safe pass. You are invited to watch the 2022 Komooap kids climbing games ! This is a unique opportunity to introduce kids to a fun and exciting sport. Our youngest climbers ( ages 6-14) will try their best on challenging new routes especially set for this competition. Open entrance. Safe pass required. Re: Finger growth plate injury prevention in youth( climbing). Parents quick read
Climbing is a wonderful sport for any age. Kids growing into teenagers climb the hardest. Often they will ignore fatigue and pain to redpoint that route. As a youth climbing couch and parent of climber I want to keep kids climbing as well and as much as possible. One of the things I watch constantly is my climber's fingers. It pays off asking the kids : do your fingers hurt ? While going through growth spurts, fingers are sensitive to growth plate fractures. These fractures typically occur during the adolescent growth spurt—between the ages of 10 – 14 for girls and 12 – 16 for boys—and they are most common during the year of highest growth . The injury is most common at the middle joint of the long (middle) finger. A low-grade injury will present as slight knuckle pain only while climbing, a worsening condition will yield acute pain while climbing as well as discomfort/aching during everyday activities. Limit training should be avoided during intense growth spurts( when their pants suddenly get shorter 😁) A good idea is to measure height every 3 months to establish growth pattern. A yearly hand ultrasound even in asymptomatic climbers is a good way to establish if there are any concerns.

Καθημερινά είμαστε όλοι εκτεθιμένοι στον κίνδυνο πνιγμονής, ιδιαίτερα τα βρέφη.👶🏻

Σε περίπτωση πνιγμονής, σε βρέφος, άν το βρέφος μπορεί να βήξει, αναπνέει ή μιλά, ενθαρρύνετέ το να βήξει.
Εάν το βρέφος δεν μπορεί να βήξει,
▶️Ελέγξτε το στόμα και αφαιρέστε ό,τι φαίνεται.
▶️Αν δεν δείτε κάτι στο στόμα, τότε τοποθετήστε το βρέφος μπρούμυτα στον πήχη σας, με ελαφρά κλίση προς τα κάτω.
▶️Κτυπήστε 5 φορές ανάμεσα στις ωμοπλάτες.
Αν δεν δείτε αποτέλεσμα, γυρίστε το βρέφος στο άλλο σας χέρι με το πρόσωπο προς τα πάνω. Με 2 δάκτυλα στο κέντρο του θώρακα, εκτελέστε 5 θωρακικές συμπιέσεις.
Συνεχίστε την ίδια διαδικασία μέχρι το βρέφος να αναπνεύσει ή μέχρι να χάσει τις αισθήσεις του.
Αν το παιδί χάσει τις αισθήσεις του, συνεχίστε με ΚΑΡΠΑ.
