Tender and flavoursome, our “Kleftiko” Lamb Shank is an extremely popular dish from our menu.

Lamb kleftiko is a rustic, traditional Greek recipe made with slow-cooked lamb that’s first marinated in garlic, olive oil, lots of rosemary and lemon juice. This traditional recipe was originally cooked in an earth oven, a simple pit in the ground, used to trap heat and smoke.

The pan, or "teganon" or "saganon”, was a metal or clay vessel in which they melted cheese. Saganaki dish took its name from this vessel.
