We continue our acquaintance with Natalia Karpova.✨

After moving to Cyprus, she worked in the theater, where she was a costume designer, created dolls, masks and scenery for performances. Moreover, she immersed herself in the art of acting and even played leading roles. This theatrical experience opened up new horizons of creative expression for her.

The experience of teaching ART to children was especially valuable for Natalia. She saw how easily, openly and courageously children create their works, which inspired her as an artist.

Her creative path began at the Academy of Fine Arts and Crafts in Yekaterinburg. After moving to Cyprus, Natalia continued her career as a teacher, and in 2023 she took a course in art photography, which gave her works even more depth and skill.

We are excited to open the new season with a unique exhibition: Cyprus: Flitting from Shadow to Light!

What is our exhibition about? It’s about all of us, about Cyprus, about that island within us—an island we see and feel, each in our own way. It's about our memories, about places and events that have become routine, that we no longer notice, but turn out to be beautiful and amazing. It’s about our dreams and desires that seem unattainable, yet are so close—we just need to cross the boundary between light and shadow.

The exhibition has turned out to be both highly contrasting and incredibly harmonious, despite bringing together over a hundred diverse works—watercolors, photographs, romantic ship models, and metal sculptures—all in one display.

Roofs and windows, little houses leaning against each other, people, birds, the sparkle of water, boats—all of this under the Cypriot sky. There are so many colors and shades in all of this, but only through a variety of colors can true harmony be achieved. A landscape is pieced together from fragments, from colored glass splashes, for nothing in this world is incompatible, and nothing is identical. Every bit of our land is beautiful—not with the cold eternal beauty of "indifferent nature," but with a fleeting, tactile, warm moment. Laughter, a touch, an embrace, joy—all things that cannot be caught or hidden—alive, sincere, real.

Yes, the island is very much alive and warm, like the sun-heated stones of its houses. There are no walls around it, because it doesn't hide. It offers comfort and joy to those who seek it. No two buildings are the same, because we are all different.

Or maybe it's not Cyprus at all, but that beloved place we long for, or dream of, as we look at the paintings.

We invite you to the opening of our exhibition on Saturday, October 5th at 6 PM. It will be a wonderful celebration!

The lovely Eugenia Molchanova will perform, and her voice will touch everyone, adding even more romance to the evening.

Victor Mesogios will be creating portraits of our guests, so many will leave with a wonderful gift.

And of course, as always, there will be a delightful buffet and a lottery!

Новый сезон мы открываем насыщенной, необычной выставкой «Кипр: из света в тень перелетая»!

О чем наша выставка? О всех нас, о Кипре, о том острове, который внутри нас, который мы видим и чувствуем, каждый по-своему . О наших воспоминаниях, о местах и событиях которые давно стали рутиной и мы их перестали замечать, а оказывается они прекрасны и удивительны, о наших мечтах и желаниях, которые кажутся несбыточными, а на самом деле они совсем рядом и нужно только перейти границу между светом и тенью.

Выставка получилась очень контрастной и очень гармоничной, несмотря на то, что мы в одной экспозиции собрали совершенно разные по технике работы, более ста акварелей и фотографий, модели романтичных кораблей и скульптуры из металла.

Крыши и окна, домики, прислонившиеся друг к другу, люди, птицы, блеск воды, лодки, и всё это здесь под небом Кипра. Столько красок и оттенков во всём этом, но только из множества разных цветов получается настоящая гармония.

Из осколков, из цветных стеклянных брызг собирается пейзаж, ведь нет на свете несочетаемого, и одинакового нет, и каждый кусочек нашей земли красивый. Не холодной вечной красотой «равнодушной природы», а сиюминутной, мгновенной, тактильной, теплой. Смех, прикосновение, объятие, радость — все то, чего ни поймать и ни спрятать, — живое, искреннее, настоящее.

Да, остров очень живой и горячий, как нагретый солнцем камень его домов. Нет стен вокруг него, потому что он не прячется, он дает утешение и радость тому, кто ищет. Нет похожих зданий, потому что мы все разные.

А может быть это не Кипр а просто тот самый любимый город, по которому тоскует или о котором мечтает глядящий на картину человек.

Ждем Вас на открытии нашей выставки 5 октября, в субботу, в 18 часов. Это будет очень хороший праздник!

Для нас будет петь прекрасная Евгения Молчанова, чей голос не оставит равнодушным никого и сделает наш вечер ещё более романтичным.

Виктор Месогиос будет рисовать портреты наших гостей, так что у многих будет отличный подарок.

И конечно, как всегда, прекрасный фуршет и лотерея!

Мы соскучились по нашим друзьям, очень хочется всех увидеть, будем рады новым гостям и знакомствам.

Είμαστε ενθουσιασμένοι που ανοίγουμε τη νέα σεζόν με μια μοναδική έκθεση: Κύπρος: Πετώντας από τη Σκιά στο Φως!

Τι αφορά η έκθεσή μας; Αφορά όλους εμάς, την Κύπρο, εκείνο το νησί μέσα μας—ένα νησί που βλέπουμε και αισθανόμαστε, ο καθένας με τον δικό του τρόπο. Αφορά τις αναμνήσεις μας, τα μέρη και τα γεγονότα που έχουν γίνει ρουτίνα και δεν παρατηρούμε πλέον, αλλά αποδεικνύονται όμορφα και υπέροχα. Αφορά τα όνειρα και τις επιθυμίες μας, που φαίνονται άπιαστα, αλλά είναι τόσο κοντά—αρκεί να περάσουμε το όριο ανάμεσα στο φως και τη σκιά.

Η έκθεση είναι πολύ αντιθετική αλλά και απίστευτα αρμονική, παρόλο που φέρνει μαζί πάνω από εκατό διαφορετικά έργα—ακουαρέλες, φωτογραφίες, ρομαντικά μοντέλα πλοίων και γλυπτά από μέταλλο—όλα σε μια ενιαία παρουσίαση.

Στέγες και παράθυρα, σπιτάκια που ακουμπούν το ένα στο άλλο, άνθρωποι, πουλιά, η λάμψη του νερού, βάρκες—όλα αυτά κάτω από τον ουρανό της Κύπρου. Τόσα χρώματα και αποχρώσεις υπάρχουν σε όλα αυτά, αλλά μόνο μέσα από μια ποικιλία χρωμάτων μπορεί να επιτευχθεί η αληθινή αρμονία. Ένα τοπίο συντίθεται από θραύσματα, από χρωματιστές γυάλινες πινελιές, γιατί τίποτα στον κόσμο αυτό δεν είναι ασύμβατο, και τίποτα δεν είναι ίδιο. Κάθε κομμάτι της γης μας είναι όμορφο—όχι με την ψυχρή αιώνια ομορφιά της "αδιάφορης φύσης," αλλά με μια φευγαλέα, χειροπιαστή, ζεστή στιγμή. Γέλιο, ένα άγγιγμα, μια αγκαλιά, χαρά—όλα αυτά που δεν μπορείς να πιάσεις ή να κρύψεις—ζωντανά, ειλικρινά, αληθινά.

Ναι, το νησί είναι πολύ ζωντανό και ζεστό, σαν τις πέτρες των σπιτιών του που έχουν ζεσταθεί από τον ήλιο. Δεν έχει τείχη γύρω του, γιατί δεν κρύβεται. Προσφέρει παρηγοριά και χαρά σε όποιον το αναζητά. Κανένα κτίριο δεν είναι ίδιο, γιατί είμαστε όλοι διαφορετικοί.

Ίσως όμως να μην είναι η Κύπρος, αλλά εκείνος ο αγαπημένος τόπος που νοσταλγούμε ή για τον οποίο ονειρευόμαστε καθώς κοιτάζουμε τους πίνακες.

Σας προσκαλούμε στα εγκαίνια της έκθεσής μας το Σάββατο, 5 Οκτωβρίου στις 6 μ.μ. Θα είναι μια υπέροχη γιορτή!

Η υπέροχη Ευγενία Μολτσάνοβα θα τραγουδήσει, και η φωνή της θα αγγίξει όλους, προσθέτοντας ακόμη περισσότερη ρομαντική ατμόσφαιρα στη βραδιά.

Ο Βίκτωρ Μεσόγιος θα σχεδιάζει πορτρέτα των καλεσμένων μας, οπότε πολλοί θα φύγουν με ένα όμορφο δώρο.

Και φυσικά, όπως πάντα, θα υπάρχει ένας υπέροχος μπουφές και μια λαχειοφόρος αγορά!

Μας έλειψαν οι φίλοι μας, ανυπομονούμε να τους δούμε όλους. Θα χαρούμε πολύ να καλωσορίσουμε νέους επισκέπτες και να κάνουμε καινούριες γνωριμίες.
