With sorrow, we have to announce the death of Prof. Karel Pala. We are mourning the loss of our friend and founder of the Natural Language Processing Centre, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic where he inspired many of us in the Sketch Engine team to pursue our careers in the field of NLP. This will always be remembered with deep gratitude.
