Summer is still here!

Prague wants tourists to respect animals. Therefore, they should not support street production based on their abuse. Their owners often keep especially snakes or owls on the street in unsuitable conditions - without water, in the sun and under stress. 🙏

Praha chce, aby turisté chovali respekt ke zvířatům. Nemají proto podporovat pouliční produkci založenou na jejich zneužívání. Jejich majitelé často na ulici drží zejména hady nebo sovy v nevhodných podmínkách - bez vody, na slunci a ve stresu.

Our guests are often welcomed by our supervisor. She is watching if you have a fun on the houseboat and if you enjoy your boat trip.

For better care by her is good to pay extra fee - cabbage is the best option 😎

This year we decided to make small reconstruction of Houseboat Benjamin. Hope you will like it and we are looking forward to your visit!

We are partly frozen, so it seems for next few days won't be possible to use the boats for river trip.

But it's nice with that ice anyway, isn't it? Sun starts to heat so with hot tea is already possible to sit on the deck and watch the iceskating birds ☀️❄️

The ice is finally cracking, so it seems soon will be possible to sail again!

Sunset is quite early in these days, but watching the river at night with shining lights mirroring on the water surface is sooo romantic, no matter if is Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, raining, snowing or foggy.

We always warn the guests to do not use standard taxi on the street - to see correct price is safer to use Uber/Bolt. But often this recommendation is ignored. Here is czech article, why we say it to you - for 5,5 km ride the taxi asked for 7.700 CZK (approx. 313 EUR). Officially it should not be more than 300 CZK (approx. 12,20 EUR). Never stop the taxi on the street, ask for the price before you sit into the car or order the taxi via dispatching. If the price seems to be too high, call the police 158 (or 112). Do you have also similar experience with czech taxi?

Taxikář v Praze si za 5,5 kilometru řekl o 7100 korun - Novinky Kontrola pražské městské policie z Taxi týmu a zaměstnanců magistrátu minulou neděli odhalila taxikáře, který za trasu dlouhou zhruba 5,5 kilometru od zákazníků kasíroval 7100 korun. V sobotu o tom informovala mluvčí městské policie Irena Seifertová.
