Our trainees have drifted off to sleep this afternoon and are dreaming that it’s Friday and they’re back at the Beer Garden..😴 💭

Our trainees are onto week 2! Can they make it until Friday? We think so!

Welcome to Prague!

Week 1 vs week 4 at The Language House. Can these trainees survive their last day tomorrow and make it to celebrate?! We shall see..

Each month, The Language House hosts a job fair for our current class. It’s not uncommon for around 1/2 a dozen or more hiring language schools to pop in for a meet and greet.

Most our grads find work a week or two after graduation, but it’s quite common for some grads to secure employment before the course ends.

Don’t want to stay in Prague? We have assistance for teaching jobs all over the world.

A BIG congrats to our March group! Well done!

Did you know you can get to numerous Czech towns from Prague in under an hour?! We took one 42 minute train from the main station to a castle and a beautiful hiking spot. You can do this as a quick day trip on a weekend, and the best part? It only costed 30 CZK (1.28$) No searching for parking, no gas money, no stress of driving!

Happy Easter from TLH! 🐣 Here in Prague, there are Easter Markets all over the city with beautiful hand made items, green beer, festive treats, and beautiful decorations. It’s such a fun time of year to wander around the city and visit these amazing markets. And we are now heading into the summer season with beer gardens, tons of festivals, and outdoor concerts! Come join us!

Stacy was seriously injured nearly two years ago and her final surgery is coming up in March.

We could really use your help!
Most of you might not know, but Stacy Cain had a serious accident shortly after she graduated from her course in January 2022. She spent many weeks in a German hospital due to a freakish ankle injury that required multiple surgeries.

Now, two years later, her final surgery is coming up. During this time, she didn't have insurance and was required to pay the costs in cash (tens of thousands of dollars). Through our combined networks, we were able to raise a tremendous amount of help for her, but her final bill of 90k CZK+ is coming up in March.

Stacy has done a tremendous amount of help to so many people over these last years, all while being under constant pain and stress, yet never complaining about it. Of all people, she deserves to no longer have this economic weight on her. If you would like to help, here is a GoFundMe that her mom set up for her to cover this last surgery
