Circuit 4: Social Navigation

Since most people in my audience I believe have settled somewhere in the Land of the Edge-Dwellers, we can skip talking about the quest to break out from Conformity Valley.

We probably all still play some masking games here and there when we need to visit the Highlands of Adulting to make our living in our current civilization configuration. Still, mostly we have found our niche somewhere, where we can be our full divergent weirdo selves.

And then, most of us exist somewhat isolated there, connected only through the virtual realms, probably having a hard time finding our place in the social world.

C2: Emotional Sovereignty

This Quest begins with tuning in to our emotional landscape and learning to feel the feels. Yes... to feel all of them.
Even the heavy and scary ones.
It helps to acknowledge them as energy in motion and allow the waves to wash through us. We might also realize that they can be interpreted as signals giving us information about our home turf territory: our sense of Self. They tell us about our basic emotional needs and how they are met or not: validation, importance, self-worth, attachment, security, and control of the territory.

This territory, regulated by our limbic system can be experienced as the seat of our personal power!

Most of us from the millennial generation and our elders grew up in a world that trained us to dissociate from our emotions, leaving us at the mercy of "irrational" emotional outbursts whenever we could not "control" them anymore, disconnected from ourselves and leaving us mostly disempowered.

The C2 Quest for Emotional Sovereignty

The main Quest of the Yellow Territory consists of reclaiming our power by conquering the High Castle of Self-Sovereignty.
That place where you are the Sovereign, King or Queen, of your own Self. That place where your emotional landscape is rich and balanced and not easily affected by the outside world. That place where it becomes hard to get you to leave your center. That place where you know what you want and need, and you can get it by the sheer force of your will.

That place where you are in your full personal power. That place where you have mastered Self-Dominion.

But to get there most of us need to absolve a few sidequests first.

We might need to clear some landmines at Trigger Bay, we might need to walk through the Shadowlands and integrate our Gremlins, we might need to walk the Valley of Tears and cross Alchemist Bay, make our way through the Desert of Self-Knowledge, and climb the Highlands of Radical Self-Expression.

THE SURF SPOTS

Around the Shadowlands there is a spot where we can surf some Drama Waves. Those can be very tricky waves to surf as the drama tides turn higher, we might have to deal with a lot of chaotic waves of different feels, and we may end up tossed around and landing back in Trigger Bay, exhausted, depleted, and powerless.

Around Boundary Bay, we can find a Surf Spot to surf the Waves of Healthy Anger. We can ride out these powerful waves for a while when they build up and use that energy to get ahead, accomplish something, and initiate change. or have a high-intensity short ride on them, when they erupt suddenly and set boundaries. Mastering these waves will support us in getting where we want and increasing our personal power.

You can find a few spots to ride the fun Dopamine Waves as well to get you going, but we have not mapped them yet.

THE ILLUMINATION ISLAND

Wherever you are going through this territory, we recommend a visit to this Island to charge upon the Yellow Magick and shine the solar light on your shadows or fuel your self-expression with the radiance of the Sun.

THE MAP IS NOT THE TERRITORY (IN RED - PART 2)

Circuit 1: Bio-Unit Maintenance

Our Quest begins with the grounding basics: Physiological survival by meeting our primary needs for food, shelter, sleep, and safety.

In our current Western civilization configuration, most, but not all of us, have access to food and housing, but not to the feature of safety.

As long as these needs are hooked to the rat race of making money under the conditions of manufactured scarcity for the masses, the quest for Safety remains an ongoing one for most of us.

Our bodies will activate the flight/fight sterss response when the money runs short, and we don't know how we gonna pay for the next rent or meal.

To escape this conundrum, we need to understand that the Quest for Safety becomes an inside job!

THE C1 QUEST

We want to get to Safety Bay and chill at the Cape of Good Health.

To get there you will have to work with your body, listen to its signals, respond intelligently, and learn to (co-)regulate your nervous system.

Throughout this journey, you will have to unlock the feature of TRUST.

Can you trust your body to carry you through the other Quests in life and can your body trust you to take the best care of it?

Remember, higher cognitive functions of the nervous system depend on a well-regulated basis in C1. If you are activated and anxious all the time, different features of your system will not be as available to you as with a calm and relaxed body.

THE SURF SPOT

The Red Territory offers us a surf spot to surf waves of anxiety, waves of adrenaline, and waves cortisol.

While these all can feel very activating and fun for a while as long as you keep in the sweet spot of eu-stress, when the tides rise and the waves get bigger, it can get quite taxing and take a toll on the system to keep riding those waves.

When your system collapses you end up in the land of frozen bodies or the Icy Isolation Islands and will experience deep inertia, cuz nothing moves there.


SAFETY BAY

Once you reach safety bay and get familiar with the sensation of feeling safe within your own skin, you can start navigating with more ease out of Safe Harbour to explore the 8 seas without currents of fear.

WARRIOR MONK ISLAND

To enhance your capacity to feel vital and safe in your body, we recommend a visit to this island to charge upon the Red Magick of the Warrior and train Martial Arts like a monk.

Introducing the 8 Circuit Brainiacs

For now it is only four of us, but I am not alone in my geek obsession with the 8 Circuit Brain Model.

Rachel Maeve, Douglas S Wingate and Zach West have been companions in the last 2 years in my journey of playing with the 8 Circuit Brain or 8 Circuits of Consciousness Model.

We share a similar story on "How we found this model and what did we do with it once we found it".

But we have developed different approaches in the application of it.

Where I am playing with maps, quests and adventures of personal and magical development, Zach West has applied it to musical development for kids.

Rachel Maeve and Douglas S Wingate have taken upon themselves to upgrade the model with the state of the discourse theories in Neuroscience and Psychology and offering application of the model for Psychedelic Therapy and Integration.

Their book is just about to come out, so watch out for that.

In this video we introduce ourselves and our stories a bit and we have the intention of recording more in deptht geeking on the model and different circuits in future.

I can hardly believe it’s been three years since we started this wild ride.

On the 23.05.2021 (the numbers were super important) this little enterprise was registered with the German authorities as a freelance business. Most new businesses do not survive the first 2 years, but we have made it a 3rd round around the yellow star!

Some of you have been there to see me take my first steps, and some of you have found my little corner on the META lands just recently.

From the first chaotic waves to now, it’s been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, challenges and so much fun. 🎂

A medium of embodied ritual explorations that will take you on a journey into the depths of your internal landscapes.

The ParaTheater Sessions Berlin offer you a space of inner explorations, cultivation of self-awareness, and energetic re-balancing of the polarities of Exis-dance.

These sessions are based on the work of the film-maker and artist Antero Alli who created this format of group ritual dynamics inspired by the early work of Grotowski.

It is difficult to use words, to describe the ParaTheater experience.
It is not Theater, because there is no script and no cast.

It is not Impro-Theater, because there are no roles to play.

It is not Contact-Impro, because the interaction is not the main aim of the game.

ParaTheater goes beyond that.

I offer these Sessions as an homage to Antero Alli, the teacher who has most inspired my work.

I sprinkle a little dash of Chaos Magick into my version of this work.

Tonight on the 23rd I unveil to you the newest metamorphosis of the transformative group Quest I facilitate twice a year.

What started as “The Balanced Psychonautics Quest” in 2021 has morphed after 5 rounds into a group Quest in Chaos Monastics: ORMEC.

This adventure, born from a relentless curiosity around inner exploration and excavation of consciousness, has evolved from its roots geeking around with the 8 Circuits of Consciousness Model to now a full-scale Magickal Research Expedition.

We've played around and merged this model with the 8 color model of Chaos Magick into a compass, to play with as as tools for neuro-hacking, taking a meta-modern lens at exploring the complexity of the Human Nervous System through a map and setting sail on a treasure hunt adventure of consciousness research.

As someone who has embraced the path of Chaos and seeks to thrive with it taking an irreverent playful attitude surfing the Waves as they come, I have crafted this Quest with love for the Chaotic Edge-Dwellers, neurospicy humans and psychedelic explorers who are carving their unique life paths dancing their own dance with chaos.

For five rounds I have played around with this material supporting a mixed group of very different individuals to download this map and make it their own to support them in navigating these transformative times.

ORMEC is more than an online course; it's an adventure for us to navigate with a map and compass guiding us through the complexities of our own systems and the ever-changing and elusive territory of ourselves and the world around us to map out uncharted waters of the ocean of consciousness.

This adventure is for the meta-modern mystics, philosophical psychonauts, the neuro-spicy misfits, the edge dwellers, and ontological rebels—the true change-makers of this era. We believe in empowering you to lead the way.
