I am back from a wonderful summer break in France, opening the doors to our studio again for everyone who is looking for a space to practise!

Did you know we offer our products in mainly two different glazing options? They are either fully glazed or glazed only on the inside.

The fully glazed ones are distinguished by their elegant shine and easy maintenance. This option is perfect for daily use and makes them a centerpiece on your dining table (as seen on image 2 with our ENEA cup 180ml).

For those who appreciate the natural feel of clay, we offer ceramic pieces that are glazed only on the inside (as seen on image 1 with our ENEA cup 180ml). This gives them a unique texture and a natural aesthetic.

It really marks the beginning of claï studio as it was the first shooting I ever did and I still love every picture we took. 🖤🖤🖤

So far I didn’t get the chance to produce any more as I am struggling a bit with my energy level lately. I have been sick a lot and I‘m always very tired. Looking forward to a little holiday break in September to restore my batteries and start fresh when I‘m back 🫶🏼

At claï studio we offer a broad range of pottery classes. You might choose between one, two or three-days throwing wheel classes including different steps in the making of a ceramic vessel at the wheel. Furthermore we offer our signature workshop „Meditation & Clay“ with - combining the grounding practice of meditation with an easy going 2 hours handbuilding session.

I‘m more than happy to host this special edition of our signature workshop together with dear Freddi from at beautiful terrace overlooking the water.

This 2,5 hour workshop opens a space to explore yourself and your creativity. Meditating as well as working with our hands and clay invites you to reconnect with yourself and be present in the moment. That's why we would like to invite you to share this experience of combining Meditation & Clay together with us.

Freddi from will start with a 30 minutes meditation that will help you to reconnect with your body and senses. The following two hours will be a playful handbuilding workshop in which we will engage with the organic material, without focussing on certain physical outcomes but rather extending the meditative state, allowing to feel the sensation of working intuitively with clay. Afterwards I will finish your pieces by glazing up to 4 pieces per person in food-safe glossy transparent glaze for you.

FORMA is a project that fills different spaces with unique objects blurring the line between art and design. For its first Berlin edition taking place in a special water-level location, Forma takes a curated selection of peculiar and astounding contemporary and 20th century pieces out of the studio to stage a dreamlike room where everyday gestures transform into a playful and poetic choreography. In this surreal environment materializing through steel, acrylic, textiles, wood and glass, functionality and wonder merge. Guests are encouraged to look at the objects with sheer curiosity and collect them with intent.

we are excited to invite you to a pop-up weekend featuring selected vintage and pre-loved designer pieces by and , consciously crafted jewelry by and of course, our handmade ceramics and interior pieces. The event will take place this weekend, on 19-21st May in the beautiful Kink Event Space, located in the lovely courtyard of .bar.restaurant on Schönhauser Allee 176, 10119 in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. We'll kick off the weekend in the evening of Friday 19th from 6pm and will be open from 12-7pm on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st. Payments via Card, Cash or Paypal accepted.

After a very calm and restorative weekend I finally felt strong enough to throw again today. It has been three weeks (!!!) as I just couldn’t seem to shake that cold.

Furthermore today was a very special day as for the first time, someone else helped me out with throwing my products. The thought felt strange at first, selling cups which I didn’t throw myself. But the concept of offering long term collections that you can slowly buy one piece after another (the opposite of a spring, summer, fall and winter collection where you have to get 6 plates at once) means that I have to have many products in stock all the time and I needed to get some help. It’s the only way I am able to gain some time for exciting new collaborations (and there are quite a few in the pipeline🤞🏼) or for designing new products for existing collections.

And who else would be a better fit than . She already teaches our weekender classes and she is the calmest and sweetest person. Welcome to the claï family! 🤍🤎🖤

Setting up a new website or even only changing the structure is a lot of work. But being honest, to me it’s so much fun that I have to make myself stop from working on it to sleep at night 🙃🤍

On Thursday’s between 5-9pm we open our doors for you and transform into a little collective studio 🤍

How it works:
You have experience in working at the Throwing Wheel (including trimming and glazing) or in handbuilding (including glazing) and are looking for a place to work or practice independently.

Just go to our website and book one of six spots for either 2 or 4 hours for any Thursday available :)

Today was all about preparing the studio for you. Since February some things changed and I have way more space to share with you. That’s why I decided to get more wheels, new glazes for classes and even a new wardrobe.
