Helping multipassionate women discover ways to create despite their resistance at The Unstuck Lab. ?
An emergency room for your creativity that’ll give you the momentum and confidence you need to move forward with your project.
I still remember the day I found this book.
It was 2020, I was subletting a room and this book was there.
It was not one of these books, which look like they would have potential from the outside.
When I started checking it, I was not fully convinced about it, as I don’t usually agree with discipline-oriented approaches (will tell you in another posts more about that).
And yet.....
Reading it, was like seeing into this mirror that you’re resisting to see, cause you know you won’t be able to continue acting like you were doing.
This book showed me how stuck I was and how much discipline I needed.
It made me realize to which extent I was romanticizing my resistance and how I wasn’t doing the work.
And the best part was that it allowed me to recognize my resistance and how this was crucial for the development of my projects.
And this made me start finding ways to get unstuck, which then led to the development of the Unstuck Lab.
So, I can say now that this book was key, not only to find ways to deal with resistance but also to create a space like the Unstuck Lab.
Do you also have a book like this that has changed the way you were doing things before?
„Knowing yourself is to be rooted in Being, I stead of lost in your mind“
Thank you Eckhart Tolle for reminding me of the importance of bring presence to all the things we do.
In my opinion, when I do things from a place of presence and because I have this strong need to share, the quality of the things I do is different, do you resonate with that? When was the last time you develop a project with full presence?
I do think that there exist a way that is not only more efficient but also more enjoyable.
This is the reason why the Unstuck Lab exist.

Are you ready to jump?
We all have experienced this moment.
We doubt whether or not to jump. From this side it might feel uncomfortable. Yet, once we make the decision and finally jump we don’t regret it, we feel that it was definitely worth it.
I feel it’s the same when we commit to the Unstuck Lab. We’re unsure at the beginning, we even might experience resistance during the process. But at the end it’s worth it.
So it you’ll like to take the leap and jump with us, go to the link in my bio to sign up.
When I stress myself and try to just be too strict with myself, I do not only have a bad time but also the results I get are not great.
The reason for it?
Whenever my nervous system gets too stressed, I end up spending too much time regulating it or burning out, which leaves me without any energy left.
On the contrary, when I take the easier and yet focused path, I try to make it as simple as possible. I become more strategic and can move easier in my projects.
This is the reason why the Unstuck Lab exists. To help you move at your own rhythm and to be able to enjoy and learn from this process.
If you’d like to move your process forward in a way that you feel supported instead of threatened…
the next batch of the Unstuck Lab starts on September 13. To join check the link in my bio.
I have some very good news for you.
Stay tuned!
Sometimes when I’m working on a project, I get tired and bored
This is normal, but how do we get out of it?
How do you bring surprises to your working schedule to keep on being productive and move your project forward?
How do you get the best results in the least amount of time?
One way to do so it’s finding motivation and excitement by doing activities with other people.
This is why coworking sessions have worked so well for me in the past, what has worked for you?
Summer days
Nature has this amazing capability to restore us and to bring us back to balance.
Specially for people with fragile nervous systems like mine, it works wonders.
I don’t know if you relate to this but for me doing things alone becomes much harder.
I’m not saying that I don’t enjoy developing my own projects and working by myself.
What I’m talking about is trying to do the things that scare us and where we tend to feel lost alone.
Joining groups and talking to people that are going through a similar phase can make a huge difference.
What do you think?
When we’re stuck the most difficult part is to set ourselves into motion again.
Coworking with other people can be useful to get unstuck.
If you would like to join our coworking sessions, check the link in my bio.
Sometimes doing the work doesn’t feel like it.
Sometimes we just feel blocked and the ideas of starting feels almost impossible.
But once we start we get back into the groove and start creating again.
What I have notice for myself is that doing this process with other people makes it easier.
If this also applies for you, join our coworking session next Tuesday.
Just send me a pm and I’ll send you the link of the session, hope to see you there!
This very small pieces of joy
At this moment, this fruit brings me so much joy.
It’s a small thing, nothing phenomenal and yet it something that sparks joy on those days when life doesn’t go as expected.
What are the small things that bring you joy in your daily life?
We all love festivals and the summer.
The energy and vibrancy they both have is amazing. It’s pure enjoyment.
And yet, there is another part inside of me that wishes that I could find a way to make use of these experiences: to use this motivation and energy to move my personal project forward.
If you feel the same way, we’ll be making the time to work on our project next Tuesday(July 12) at 10 am (Berlin/CET) to move them forward.
If you would like to join you can pm to get the link of the session.
This phrase belongs to Julia Cameron: “In creativity, as in running, you have to start where you are.” But I think it also applies big time to our projects.
No matter how long it passes since we left our project on the side, you have to start somewhere.
This is why virtual accountability is key for us.
Without it, we would keep on postponing and finding excuses to not finding the time to work in this project.
Yes, I’m talking about the project that you know could lighten your heart.
So if you feel the call to start, you can either join the Unstuck Lab or one of our Coworking Sessions(where we work online for an hour in our project).
Sounds interesting? You can check the link in my bio or send me a pm.
Coworking with other women infuses me with energy, it inspires me.
The feeling that we’re all in these together helps me in moments when I don’t feel so motivated.
And I’m not inventing it up, there’ is plenty of research that shows that some people have higher chances of finishing tasks or projects when working around other people.
If you’re one of them and wanna join me for a Coworking session, hit me a dm and I’ll send you the link. There’s no need to give me your email.
Here’s all the info:
When: May 17 (it’s a Tuesday)
Time: 20 Hrs (8 pm) - Berlin time
Whoever feels like it, can join.
I was feeling so drained yesterday that I did not even want to join a yoga class.
Instead of forcing it, I wear my snickers and just went for a relaxing walk.
Walking is amazing, it helped me to feel more energized and got inspiration again.
We don’t talk enough about this magic moments when we decide to take time for ourselves and just start walking without a given direction and find ourselves exploring the city without hurry and with a playful approach.
Do you give yourself often time to go for walks?
What have strawberries have to do with creating inspiring and epic work?
Strawberries are at their best when in season and it’s key to understand that the cycles of nature…….
also apply to you.
If you expect to eat strawberries non-stop the whole year, you might not get the ripest and sweetest fruits.
Why?
Because you might be forcing it by:
- being impatient
- wanting to prolong your ups for too long
And the same applies to our work, if you expect to work without slowing down and without giving your body and mind enough rest, the quality of your work is likely to decrease.
So if you wanna create epic and inspiring work: hear and respect your cycles.
