This works also for playing an instrument, for practice in general. Whatever you are struggling with, don't go over it. Stay there and try to correct it right away. This will save you a lot of time and also take you from amateur to pro😉

Also, time needed to warm up is very personal, and may be different from day to day. Don't assume right away that something is not good with your voice, don't judge it because it does some uncontroled sounds, because chances are that it is not yet fully warmed up😉

There is always something to work on, especially when it comes to singing. As our body changes, so does our voice, which is why we should never stop practicing.

This recording is far from perfect, but I still decided to post it just to show that it's ok not to be perfect, it's even impossible to be perfect. Imperfection is part of perfection. It will get better, with time, but we have to enjoy the process all the way.

This is my warm-up routine before a performance. It's a little different every time, depending on my body and repertoire needs, but these elements are always there. Everyone has a different warm-up routine, depending on many factors, because we are all unique.
