Happy Chinese Valentine's Day! Also known as Qixi Festival, it is based on the legend of two star-crossed lovers, Zhinü and Niulang, who are unable to be together because of Zhinü’s family, similar to Romeo and Juliet in the West. Today, couples generally celebrate Qixi by giving each other gifts or going on a date.

In Chinese culture, pavilions have traditionally been a place for lovers to meet in secret, as pavilions are often located in quiet, secluded locations such as on a mountain or beside a river. Pavilions were a good place to look at the moon, eat sweets, and read poems together.

It’s almost time to start school in Germany! We’ve prepared some calligraphy for the occasion 😉

Our first Finger Yoga night was a success! 😎

Our Origami Finger Yoga session a success! We folded paper cranes, earrings, boxes, flowers and coasters and also got the chance to try authentic matcha tea from Japan.
