It can be isolating to be a solo self-employed person. 2021 has been just as unpredictable as 2020, and against odds I am now allowed to open my Berlin offices. And I'm THRILLED! Except, that I'm not in Berlin. I'm in California. One of the big life lessons I've learned since the pandemic began is to adapt quickly and to be more flexible. I'm the kind of person who typically plans vacations and buys plane tickets six months in advance. But two weeks ago, I made a snap decision to fly to the United States to visit family to attend some very special celebrations (I'm going to be an aunt!) and I took the opportunity to receive vaccination in my home country. I am extremely grateful for my good fortune. And I am astonished by the healing from worldwide trauma that I am experiencing here. I believe and hope that Germany (and the whole world) will soon experience the relief and increased sense of safety that I am getting a preview of now.

I will be back in Berlin just in time to participate in a week-long continuing education course, full of methods to ease lower back pain and stiffness, using a unique combination of gentle osteopathic and Thai massage techniques. I can't wait to share my new skills with you. And to learn again in real life.
