"The Human Side of Refugees" is a powerful and emotional photo series that captures the struggles and resilience of refugee children and their families. The series focuses on the faces of the children, their expressions, and the hope that shines through despite the hardships they have endured.
The family featured in this photo series migrated from Afghanistan to Pakistan during the war started by America in Afghanistan. They left their homes and everything they knew in search of safety and a better future for their children. Through the lens of the camera, we see the strength and determination of these refugees, as well as their humanity and vulnerability.
One of the most poignant moments of the series was when the mother of these refugees came and asked me; Is it possible to arrange funds for us. I replied that I am just taking photos, but the mother went on to explain that her daughter was blind. This revelation touched me deeply, and I cried when I returned home.
"The Human Side of Refugees" is a testament to the courage and resilience of people who have been forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in a foreign land. It is a reminder that behind every refugee statistic, there is a human story, and every face has a story to tell. This photo series is a moving tribute to the human spirit and a call to action for all of us to remember our shared humanity and do what we can to help those in need.

GSG Berlin , the most important private office and commercial landlord in Berlin, was looking for the most beautiful architectural photo of the GSG commercial yards - and we are proud to have cooperated in this exciting initiative! 🏢📷

Our highly esteemed lecturers at UE, led by Professor Michael Danner, together with selected GSG Berlin employees and the head of communications, Michael Mandla, evaluated the outstanding submissions and determined the winners.

🥇 Our photography student Furqan Sohail receives 1,000 euros for his photo of the econopark Plauener Straße.

Visiting the quaint village of Kutal in 🇦🇱 was a magical experience! 🌿 While in search of different people, I met this incredible lady who spoke only Albanian. Despite the language barrier, she used hand gestures to convey her story, leaving me in awe of her determination. With her permission, I captured these precious moments through my lens.
