Synästhesie Festival

Berlin’s Anatolian, post-punk, new-wave group explodes with dynamic, poly-rhythmic psych-grooves, live energy, and a galactic panache for otherworldly effects. The Anatolian post-punk, Kraut-Welle, psych-dub, sounds of Kara Delik is rooted in the history of Anatolian rock, Neue Deutsche Welle, and dub, all delivered with a zesty, post-punk, explosive live punch. The international trio of Barış Öner (Istanbul Ghetto Club) on saz, Andi Sommer (Henry Fonda, Yacht Communismon) on bass and synths, and drummer Eilis Frawley (Anika, Laura Lee & The Jettes) interweave energetic, complex rhythms, soundscapes, and effects, creating an industrious post-punk melee of Anatolian heat.
Founded in 2020, Kara Delik first exploded onto the Berlin scene with their debut EP Tamam, before taking their sounds across the continent, later rewarding fans with a trilogy of EPs, entitled Singularities. Having played across the continent and multiple festivals, with an album in the pipeline, no-one is safe from being pulled in the music vortex of Kara Delik.

.anstalt.band has been taking stages by storm since jumping into the Berlin music scene at the end end of 2023. Their unique blend of raw synth punk and twangy western guitars paired with their raucous live shows have garnered them a dedicated fan base that never leave their shows disappointed.

Playing live in Berlin for the very first time, is a six-piece ensemble based in Portland, OR.
Spearheaded by longtime Brian Jonestown Massacre bassist Collin Hegna, the band was conceived as an outlet to channel inspiration from 60s & 70s European soundtracks, particularly those from Italy made famous by the Spaghetti Western & Giallo genres. As well as the narrative driven song stylings of Lee Hazlewood and Nick Cave. Reverb & Seduction is the legendary Portland band’s most immersive and varied album to date. A tour de force road trip from psych rock to country duets that never strays too far from the spaghetti western roots that inspired the band so many blood moons ago.

is an experimental meets electronic kraut-rock duo that promises to set a hypnotic tone with their pulsating rhythms and boundary-pushing sound explorations. Featuring Berlin based producer Mateo Sánchez Galán and sound wizard Pablo Thiermann, it’s a sonic experience not to be missed.

8MM Bar kicks off the ‚Night of Synästhesie‘ in grand style with an intimate concert by Portland’s very own - playing live in Berlin for the very first time.
Federale is a six-piece ensemble based in Portland, OR.

"Early Labyrinth is a clandestine entity formed in Berlin at the pandemic dawn. Composed of Stefanía Pálsdóttir, Starri Holm, and Rún Árnadóttir the group met as students at the Icelandic University of the Arts and have since been making music together."

The cult songwriter is "known for a tremendous output of heartbreaking ballads of an amateur or naive expression.
