So happy to make the second campaign for Ocalenie Foundation! 🫶🏻

This time we chose to introduce the team behind the to show you that their work is far more complex than one may think.

The foundation supports people with refugee experience from the first moments of their stay in Poland (including the dramatic and life-threatening days in the border forest) until they build a good life in the country. One of the team members is Mahdieh, an intercultural mentor at the Warsaw Center for Help for Foreigners. Her support is regular, comprehensive and long-term.

Even small but regular donation will keep Fundacja Ocalenie going and support people in a vulnerable position.

Big thanks for amazing collaboration during the photo shoot: – pictures, .lodzinska – styling – makeup, .retouch – postproduction and one and only

The foundation supports people with refugee experience from the first moments of their stay in Poland. These circumstances can often be dramatic and life-threatening. Ocalenie is not limited to only first moments though. Their team supports migrants in integrating into society and their personal development. One of the team members is Mahdieh, an intercultural mentor at the Warsaw Center for Help for Foreigners. Her support is regular, comprehensive and long-term. Please consider your support if you wanna help.

We, a collective of Berlin-based cultural workers, warmly invite you to take a moment of post-protest rest on Saturday, 4th of November, in solid@rity with P@l4stine.

Our first event - kindly hosted by - offers a space for intersectional conversation, reflection and mourning, over tea and snacks.

Throughout the evening we will play lullabies that recorded in P@lestin1an refugee camps (Bedtime project).

"On the streets of the camps, blatant violence unjustified arrests not only of adults, but also of children, are the order of the day. Usually at night, the IOF storms the camps, conducts house searches and disturbs the silence. Sleep deprivation, a torture method used by oppressors all over the world, is employed there against whole neighbourhoods. In those places, I recorded lullabies sung by residents (usually women) in spite of two techniques of power: cultural uprooting and sleep deprivation. Quiet and tender, these songs are also acts of subversion and resistance for which one can get punished. It is where the firmest no pasarán is declared, one that seems to render all the drones, stun grenades, and tear gas ineffective. The power of a tender collectivity making sure that the youngest ones sleep tight is irresistible indeed"

The event is free of entrance. Optional donations collected for Lavlac (The Pal4st1nian Center of Youth Action for Community).

Please get in touch with us for future involvement cooperation and collaboration. We warmly welcome new participants. This aims to be a starting point of a series to take place at different venues over the next couple of months, to offer spaces for connections in times of separation.

Please note our code of conduct for this event in the slides. Thank you and we look forward welcoming you on Saturday.

Everyday Forms of Resistance are needed more than ever in a situation we are facing right now.
According to official data between October 7 and 26, 7,028 Palestinians were killed, including 2,913 children
More than 6,000 children have been injured in Gaza since the war began.

Everyday Forms of Resistance was an exhibition that took place in 2021 at in Warsaw.

A group show amplified voices of 14 Palestinian and European artists whose works reflected on different ways of resistance.
Resistance understood in terms of persistence, hospitality, and practices of memory, as well as everyday gestures and rituals: preparing meals, growing plants, singing, and rebuilding destroyed houses.

We designed visual identity for that outstanding project, including 13 individual artists’ booklets and foldouts in varied formats’ which wrapped with a banderole become an exhibition catalogue, postcards, signage within an exhibition space, social media and outdoor campaign including posters and citylights.

Artists: Jumana Emil Abboud, Noor Abed, Ahmad Alaqra, Mirna Bamieh Wim Catrysse, DAAR (Decolonizing Architecture Art Research – Sandi Hillal & Alessandro Petti), Maja Demska, Forensic Architecture, Karolina Grzywnowicz Jumana Manna Joanna Rajkowska, Mohammad Saleh, Marta Wódz, Jaśmina Wójcik

Who is behind all this at ???

Meet , the founder🥷🏻.
For Kuba, the impact on the world to be made with graphic tools is crucial.
“It’s fascinating how powerful tools designers have in their hands, and imho it is so important to use them, to support important causes, amplify messages that can bring the constructive change.”
Kuba designs typography and systems of visual communication: logotypes, publications and url entities. He works with artists, cultural institutions and change-makers. After few years in London he is currently based in Berlin and works internationally.

To be on the move is very important for my work, changing places opens my eyes. I collect visual vocabulary from different countries, i practice type hunting in places I go to and in different languages/scripts. This is where my typefaces get their ideas for their forms. I at least I try to scroll the road equally to scrolling the screen :-))). Big inspiration for me is finding old examples of hand-made lettering hidden in small provincial towns one can come across coincidentally while bike packing or working on another project. I try to be present and keep my eyes open for this kind of visual gifts.

Anyone in Chicago these days? 🇺🇸
Last Friday the iconic has opened a show 🔹Peace Has No Home: Posters for Ukraine 🔸 and we are super happy to be a part of it.
💙💛
Peace Has No Home: Posters for Ukraine features powerful graphic works from Polish artists, created in support of Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russian invasion.
💙💛
Studio Lekko has designed a viral campaign IN SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE, consisting of different solidarity slogans on the backdrop on th Ukrainian flag and we are humbled and honoured to go viral throughout institutions, public spaces, NGOs,social media and individuals worldwide.

Public Works' mission is to be a community hub that amplifies under-heard voices, armed only with the idea that art & design should be a whole lot more accessible and provocative.

The exhibition is supported by a global network of artists, activists, and organizations raising awareness for the plight of Ukraine in this unprovoked war. The exhibition, initially launched in Tokyo, is now on view in Chicago and includes inspired contributions from designers at Someoddpilot (Public Works’ parent company).

Peace Has No Home: Posters for Ukraine is organized by Public Works and Foundation, in cooperation with The Adam Mickiewicz Institute and Polish Cultural Institute New York
The exhibition has been curated and produced by Monika Brauntsch and Ewelina Skowrońska ewelello
