.an einem heißen Frühsommertag ist es uns gelungen, den Bewohnern der Seniorenresidenz, in der unsere Claudia arbeitet, mit fröhlichen Barbershopklängen eine Freude zu bereiten und für Abwechslung zu sorgen...

A heartfelt congratulations and welcome to our two newbies, Sabine (lead) and Andrea (bari) who received their part pin from their section leaders and are now official WiBs!

Women in Black… this time in color!🌈 We had a blast singing for a great crowd after the rain at Fête de la Musique!

Congratulations to our bass section leader Susi for winning a silver medal singing bari in the Quartet Competition at Harmony Brigade in Dortmund this past weekend!

We had so much fun rocking around the clock at the BMF in Dortmund! We are very proud of our score of 67.5 points, especially since 13 out of 23 of us were newbies to the festival stage, some completely new to Barbershop! We especially enjoyed singing during the afterglow with our old friends from Barberellas and Erster Kölner Barbershop Chor and watching so much incredible talent on stage. Congratulations to everyone and see you in 2026!

We’ve been busy! Rehearsal weekend in Kladow, inspiring coaching by Garnett and Lisa Robathan… BMF Dortmund, here we come!

We can’t believe it’s been 3 months since our fabulous concert in Köln with Erster Kölner Barbershop Chor! Feels like it was only yesterday. A great time was had by all!

Happy new year from the Women in Black!

The WiBs had a blast last weekend singing at the Onkel Toms Chorfest, meeting Santa, and having a Glühwein together!

Zum wiederholten Mal machte es den WiBs großen Spaß, beim Chorfest im U-Bahnhof Onkel Toms Hütte aufzutreten! Es gab gute Stimmung, Glühwein und eine Audienz beim Weihnachtsmann!

Happy birthday to the Women in Black! 15 years ago the chorus was started by founder Steve Hepner in Berlin. I spy Cathy and Bea in those first photos, still going strong!

Nur noch eine Woche bis zum Chorfest in der Ladenstraße Onkel-Toms-Hütte! Wir freuen uns auf zahlreiche Zuhörer, besonders um 11.00 Uhr!

Happy birthday to Steve Hepner, our longtime director, with many happy memories of his dedication to the WiB!! 🎼🎶🎵🙏😘

Taking their bows at the end of a Barberella/WiB concert in Bonn this summer - it was Steve's last public appearance as our director, assisted by Francis our new MD.

Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Auftritt - zur Adventszeit am 2.12!

Can't wait for our next performance to ring in the Advent season on December 2nd!

Goodbye Francis, hello Melissa…
We are so sad to let our dear director Francis Schmutzler move on, after many years of beautiful music together, but we are thrilled to have Melissa Wiltzius back in Berlin and ready to take over and lead us to great things!
