New vintage from Languedoc has arrived, and they are a beauty! The most vibrant and energetic summer reds that you could ask for!

We love the work that Tom and Miha do in Bédarieux - precisely hand-picked plots of Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan, Aramon and other local varieties which might be fermented together in steel tanks in layers of whole bunches or directly pressed, but always resulting in vibrant and fresh wines with a solid amount of character!

The wines of L’Absurde Génie des Fleurs are wines that you watch grow into their beauty in the bottle. They become your little kids as they amaze you with their freshness and energy, and then watch them mature into rare beauty with a lot of depth.

Our beloved office ! Before to put the wines on the shelves or to propose them to the gastronomie ,we have/need/want/enjoy to taste the wines to see if they are ready and we discuss about them. We believe this is what makes the experience and recommendation better when you come to us. ( thanks for this by the way ) . Sometimes natural wines need time after bottling to express their thru energy. We should not rush them. Nature has a much slower and wise rhythm. We have to be patient and embrasse it.

STAFF PICK of the week!

We have received new vintages from many winemakers, and we are very happy we can share them with you. The following are some of the staff favourites from today’s wine tasting. DON’T miss out!

Pearl - possibly the last vintage ever of La Combe aux Rêves’s négoce majority-Chardonnay cuvée, we love it for its fruity nose, rich nutty and earthy character and fresh acidity.

Liner Notes - Our favourite Hungarian winemaker, Réka Koncz is back! Her fresh and structured fizzy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Blaufrankisch is the bomb for these not-so-summery days!

Male Tears - an Alsacien cuvée made under the wing of Vins et Volailles brings the electric acidity and aromatics you’d expect from Riesling and Sylvaner. For anyone who enjoys a little reduction on the nose and a little effervescence in the glass. Summer glasses bottoms up!

Daniele from ( Lazio-IT) will be pouring his wines and ( Emilia Romagna ) will be cooking for you a Roman inspired dish to match the wines . As if this was not enough all Cantina Ribela wines will be 15% off and glasses all 6 euro. Come enjoy their presence and energy .

This wine tasting is dedicated to the industry ( free of charge , we will ask a business card or contact ) but wine enthusiast can participate for a contribution of 10 euro. Festive bottles, bottles for the days off, bottles for the Christmas table, bottles for the New Years Eve celebration, bottles for the 1st of the new year, bottles for all occasions. Rocket bottles, let’s go!

Here an idea for an amazing gift to offer to a loved one - a wine enthusiast or simply as a gift to yourself to furnish your wine cellar - Vin jaune takes 7 years to make when and only the conditions are right by the nature. Such wine can be enjoyed now but have an extreme longevity. In France (Jura mostly) such winemakers as Gerard & Christine would keep those bottles for their grand children for them to enjoy when they are adult. When lucky the vintage fits the year of birth of the children. This wine can age easily up to 50 years. It is the first time in the Rocketwine history that we manage to have a vin jaune from our Beloved Domaine Villet.
We release a few bottles for the holiday season. You can come by the shop to taste it before buying. As you may have understood it, expect this type of wine to be of a certain high budget ;) (which is not much for the work and the black magic of it)

Tomorrow at the shop 07.12.2023 - 12h00 -15h00: Last tasting of the year 2023. A big load of bottles to complete the last tuning of your wine list for the last big stretch toward the holiday season .

tomorrow 05.12, 17h00-21h00 we will share an evening with two great forces of this world. Jacopo Stigliano will pour his wines and Vickie will make snacks using Parmigiano brought by Jacopo himself. Just come in and share one last evening enjoying Vickie’s talent. Tomorow will also mark the end of Vickie’s residency at Rocket . thank you, we had a blast !

Trained pastry chef of 20 years of experience in the kitchen as well as the founder of a numerous of diverse solo project, she now offers dinner experiences in her countryside home on the south side of Québec city valorizing the farmer ‘s products of this region. She will offer a weekly changing bistro menu. No reservation - walk in welcome

OKR 2022 is a highly < everyday easy drinking > ( maceration of Gruner Veltliner- Sauvignon blanc- Chardonnay- Gewurztraminer - Pálava)wine. It’s charming aromatic will give you wings and it’s one liter volume will extend the smile on your face. Enjoy the sunny week end .

Run ! A few bottles of the wines of Amelie Vuillet et Sébastien Jacques are back on the shelves. Their wines are breathing curiosity- great care and their origin of Petit-Molamboz in North Jura. Bravo again .vin for your good work !

Hello there. Happy to announce this month we will be extending the .maar.berlin residency for one extra day, so you will be able to come eat and drink a glass or two from Monday to Thursday for the entirety of July.

This coming Sunday, 25th June, from 14:00 to 20:00, our shop will be open for you to get some beautiful red wines on sale. You save money and get delicious wine, and we clear some space in our cellar to receive fresh vintages in. It is a good deal! Plus, the food and drinks we have ready for you are just as much of a reason to pop by as the wines.
